  • Physical exercise significantly improves individuals' physical appearance, as evaluated by third-party assessments, showing a more objective measure compared to self-assessments.
  • The study analyzed data from over 25,000 respondents and found that the positive effects of exercise on appearance vary among different groups, notably benefiting women, urban residents, and those with lower initial appearance scores the most.
  • An interesting age-related trend emerged, highlighting that middle-aged adults (40-59 years) gain the most from exercise, while younger and older adults see lower benefits, illustrating an inverted U-shaped relationship between age and appearance improvements from exercise.
