Active Domain Adaptation (ADA) improves knowledge transfer efficiency from the labeled source domain to the unlabeled target domain by selecting a few target sample labels. However, most existing active sampling methods ignore the local uncertainty of neighbors in the target domain, making it easier to pick out anomalous samples that are detrimental to the model. To address this problem, we present a new approach to active domain adaptation called Local Uncertainty Energy Transfer (LUET), which integrates active learning of local uncertainty confusion and energy transfer alignment constraints into a unified framework.

Materials And Methods: This study employed a forwards-looking approach utilising the propensity score matching (PSM) method; 300 patients with pathological CRC after laparoscopic surgery from April 2019 to May 2023 were enrolled. Two categories were bifurcated based on their surgical locations: the rectosigmoid colon (RSC) group and the descending/ascending colon (DAC) group, with a 2:1 ratio.
Background: Cell-assisted lipotransfer (CAL) and platelet-rich plasma (PRP)-assisted lipotransfer have been used to overcome the low survival rate of conventional lipotransfer. However, there is still insufficient evidence to determine which technique is the best strategy for autologous fat grafting in breast cosmetic and reconstructive surgery. The present study aimed to compare the efficacy of traditional fat transplantation, CAL, and PRP-assisted lipotransfer.

However, limited understanding of ESG mechanisms hampers effective management strategies. To address this challenge, this study constructs an ESG introduction mechanism framework based on Bayesian networks and machine learning algorithms.

For the experiment, 36 Alps milk goats were selected and randomly divided into an experimental group and a control group, with 18 goats in each group. The ewes in the experimental group were fed with YYSBFF for 14 d prior to breeding and farrowing.

This study investigated whether physical activity reduces thymic tumor risk and whether circulating cytokines mediate this effect. We performed a two-sample Mendelian randomization (MR) analysis using genetic variants as instrumental variables for physical activity and cytokines.

The hair follicle stem cells (HFSCs) have displayed clinical improvements on AGA. However, the molecular mechanism of HFSCs against AGA remains elusive.

This study involved the construction of a comprehensive database of 315 XOD inhibitors and development of 28 machine learning-based QSAR models. The ChemoPy light gradient boosting machine model exhibited the best performance (AUC = 0.

The suddenness and unpredictability of seizures greatly affect the physical and mental health and even the life safety of patients, and the realization of early prediction of seizures and the adoption of interventions are of great significance to the improvement of patients' quality of life. In this paper, we firstly introduce the design process of EEG-based seizure prediction methods, introduce several databases commonly used in the research, and summarize the commonly used methods in pre-processing, feature extraction, classification and identification, and post-processing.

Here, we present a simple approach to synthesizing full-color fluorescent nanomaterials with broad-spectrum fluorescence emissions, high optical stability, and long fluorescence lifetimes. By doping amino acids during the enzyme-catalyzed oxidative self-assembly of tyrosine-based peptides, we can precisely control the intermolecular interactions to obtain nanoparticles with fluorescence emission at different wavelengths.

Traditional molecular descriptors have contributed to the prediction of angiotensin I-converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitory peptides, but they often fall short in capturing the complex structure of the molecule. To address these limitations, this study introduces molecular graphs as an advanced method for peptide characterization. Peptides containing 2-10 amino acids were represented using molecular graphs, and a graph convolutional network (GCN) model was constructed to predict variable-length peptides.

Objectives: This study aims to estimate the incidence, mortality, and disability-adjusted life years for melanoma, stratified by region, gender, and age group, from 1990 to 2021.
Objective: To investigate the incremental value of pericoronary fat attenuation index (FAI) in routine coronary artery computed tomography angiography (CCTA) to identify culprit lesions in acute coronary syndrome (ACS).
Methods: We reviewed the CCTA data from 80 ACS patients and 40 individuals with stable coronary atherosclerosis. ACS patient plaques were categorized into culprit and nonculprit groups.
The polar bear (Ursus maritimus) occupies a relatively narrow ecological niche, with many traits adapted for cold temperatures, movement across snow, ice and open water, and for consuming highly lipid-dense prey species. The divergence of polar bears from brown bears (Ursus arctos) and their adaptation to their Arctic lifestyle is a well-known example of rapid evolution. Previous research investigating whole genomes uncovered twelve key genes that are highly differentiated between polar and brown bears, show signatures of selection in the polar bear lineage, and are associated with polar bear adaptation to the Arctic environment.

The electrooxidation of catalyst surfaces is across various electrocatalytic reactions, directly impacting their activity, stability and selectivity. Precisely characterizing the electrooxidation on well-defined surfaces is essential to understanding electrocatalytic reactions comprehensively. Herein, we employed in situ Raman spectroscopy to monitor the electrooxidation process of palladium single crystal.

This study, using data from the four waves of CHARLS, aimed to determine the optimal PA dose that reduces frailty risks among older adults across various age groups and both sexes. We created a frailty index score using 63 health-related variables and used 0.

This study aimed to determine the causal link between physical activity, sedentary behavior, and brain cortical structure (cortical surface area and thickness) through Mendelian randomization analysis. The inverse-variance weighted method was primarily utilized, accompanied by sensitivity analyses, to confirm the results' robustness and accuracy.
