Optimization design and application of library face recognition access control system based on improved PCA.

The application of face recognition technology in Library Access Control System (LACS) has an important impact on improving the security and management efficiency of the library. However, the traditional face recognition methods have some limitations in the face of complex environmental conditions such as illumination and posture change. To solve this problem, an improved method combining the Aggregating Spatial Embeddings for Face Recognition (ASEF) algorithm and Principal Component Analysis (PCA) is proposed.

Associations of Dietary Intake of Vitamin B6 and Plasma Pyridoxal 5'-Phosphate Level With Depression in US Adults: Findings From NHANES 2005-2010.

Background: Evidence regarding the associations of pyridoxal 5'-phosphate level in plasma and dietary intake of vitamin B6 with depression risk is scarce. Accordingly, we investigated the aforementioned associations in US adults.

Methods: This is a cross-sectional study that included data from two independent samples of 12,716 and 11,967 individuals (aged ≥ 20 years) participating in the National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (NHANES) from 2005 to 2010.

Effects of different psychosocial interventions on death anxiety in patients: a network meta-analysis of randomized controlled trials.

Objective: This research intended to assess and compare influence of psychosocial interventions in death anxiety in patients, providing evidence-based guidance for both patients and healthcare providers.

Design: The present study exclusively gathered randomized controlled trials by comprehensively searching across multiple databases, comprising of PubMed, Embase, Cochrane Library, Web of Science, and Scopus. The methodological quality of the enrolled studies involved in the analysis was assessed using the Cochrane bias risk assessment tool, and data analysis was performed utilizing appropriate software.
