Development of Orientation and Mobility Training System for Visually Impaired Children Using VR.

Visually impaired children do Orientation and Mobility(O&M) training to acquire the abilities to walk alone with white cane. The abilities to walk alone are to discriminate sound sources, localize sound sources, recognizer sound motion or echoes, and form a mental map. A mental map is a map formed in the brain, and visually impaired people create a map mainly from sound information.

For evaluation of physiologically significant organic anions in the colonic environment, 87 samples of normal feces were collected from the rectum of 15 calves less than 60 days old. The calves were fed milk replacer with free access to starter diet and hay. After fecal extraction with water, pH, D- and L-lactate, succinate, and volatile fatty acid (VFA) concentrations were determined.

Background: Paracetamol concentrations in plasma, a frequently used index of gastric emptying (GE) of liquids, are closely correlated with those in saliva. GE of liquids is delayed by co-ingesting solids. No researchers have used salivary paracetamol concentrations to show this phenomenon.
