Purposes: The benefit of neo-adjuvant chemotherapy for liver-limited metastatic colorectal cancer is still controversial. This study defined the resectability regardless of the size and number of liver metastases, and attempted curative hepatic resection in all cases.
Methods: Sixty-four patients that tolerated chemotherapy were diagnosed with CLM (colorectal liver metastases) without extrahepatic metastase from January 2007 to November 2010, and received an oxaliplatin-based regimen.
We investigated 30 patients with advanced and metastatic breast cancer who underwent capecitabine therapy in our department from July, 2004 to April, 2009. Patients' backgrounds: 35-82 years of age (median, 62 years of age). Performance status (PS): 0 approximately 1 in 21 cases, PS:2 in 7 cases and PS:3 in 2 cases.

Fetal echocardiography demonstrated severe mitral regurgitation, aortic valve stenosis, hypocontractility of the left ventricle, and showed retrograde flow in the aortic arch like HLHS (hypoplastic left heart syndrome). However, soon after delivery, improvement in the baby's hemodynamics and myocardial contractility were recognized without any treatment.
