To investigate the treatment outcomes of combined internal and external fixation surgery for patients with posterior lateral tibial plateau fractures and explore its safety. The study was conducted from February 2020 to February 2023 and included a total of 77 patients with Schatzker IV and Schatzker V type posterior lateral tibial plateau fractures. Patients were divided into control group and treatment group according to different treatment methods: the control group with 38 cases received treatment with dual-support plates, and the study group with 39 cases received treatment with internal fixation using medial plates combined with lateral locking plates.

Three-dimensional (3D) pseudohalide rare-earth double perovskites (PREDPs) have garnered significant attention for their versatile physical properties, including ferroelectricity, ferroelasticity, large piezoelectric responses, and circularly polarized luminescence. However, their potential for X-ray detection remains unexplored, and the low Curie temperature (T) limits the performance window for PREDP ferroelectrics. Here, by applying the chemical regulation strategies involving halogen substitution on the organic cation and Rb/Cs substitution to the PREDP [(R)-M3HQ]RbEu(NO) [(R)-M3HQ=(R)-N-methyl-3-hydroxylquinuclidinium] with a low T of 285 K, a novel 3D PREDP ferroelectric [(R)-CM3HQ]CsEu(NO) [(R)-CM3HQ=(R)-N-chloromethyl-3-hydroxylquinuclidinium] are successfully synthesized, for which the T reaches 344 K.

Triphenylamine derivatives with narrowband emission have attracted growing attention in purely organic thermally-activated fluorescence (TADF) materials owing to their enhanced color purity and flexible molecular design strategy. Combined time-dependent density functional theory (TD-DFT) and ONIOM (QM/MM) calculations indicate that the excellent planarity of the experimentally developed DQAO could result in gradually decreased intermolecular interactions in the aggregated state at ambient pressure and upon compression, which is unfavorable for suppressing structural relaxation and achieving narrowband emission in its non-doped practical application. Therefore, three structure-modified derivatives, DQAO-Cb, DQAO-Ph, and DQAO-PhCb, were theoretically designed by introducing the spherical -carborane and dangling phenyl units positioned to the N atom of the DQAO to provide additional geometrical distortion and steric hindrance.
