Background: Clinical characteristics and the risk of cardiovascular events in patients with cardiac sarcoidosis (CS) according to the age of initial diagnosis are unclear.
Methods: This study is a sub-analysis of the ILLUMINATE-CS registry, which is a retrospective, multicenter registry that enrolled patients with CS between 2001 and 2017. Patients were divided into three groups according to the tertile of age at the time of initial diagnosis of CS.
