The etiology of rheumatoid arthritis (RA), a chronic inflammatory systemic disease, remains unclear. It is characterized by symmetrical and invasive joint inflammation, primarily affecting distal small joints such as those in the hands and feet. This inflammation can lead to joint deformity and loss of function, and often accompanied by involvement of extra-articular organs like the lungs and heart.

Acute lung injury (ALI) is a severe clinical respiratory condition characterized by high rates of mortality and morbidity, for which effective treatments are currently lacking. In this study, lipopolysaccharide (LPS) was used to induce ALI mice, demonstrating the efficacy of tetramethylpyrazine (TMP) in ameliorating ALI. Subsequent we perfored high-throughput sequencing analysis and used Targetscan 8.

With the integration and miniaturization of chips, there is an increasing demand for improved heat dissipation. However, the low thermal conductivity (TC) of polymers, which are commonly used in chip packaging, has seriously limited the development of chips. To address this limitation, researchers have recently shown considerable interest in incorporating high-TC fillers into polymers to fabricate thermally conductive composites.

Lithium-ion batteries, which have dominated large-scale energy storage for the past three decades, face limitations in energy density and cost. Sulfur, with its impressive capacity of 1675 mAh g and high theoretical energy density of 1274 Wh kg, stands out as a promising cathode material, leading to a growing focus on sodium-sulfur (Na-S) batteries as an alternative to address lithium resource scarcity. Nevertheless, the development is restrained by poor conductivity, volume expansion of the sulfur cathode, and the shuttle effect of sodium polysulfides (NaS) in the electrolytes.

Low-grade heat energy recycling is the key technology of waste-heat utilization, which needs to be improved. Here, we use a zinc-assisted solid-state pyrolysis route to prepare zinc-guided 3D graphene (ZnG), a 3D porous graphene with the interconnected structure. The obtained ZnG, with a high specific surface area of 1817 m·g and abundant micropores and mesopores, gives a specific capacitance of 139 F·g in a neutral electrolyte when used as electrode material for supercapacitors.

Background: Currently, there is no consensus on the effect of obstructive sleep apnea on male serum testosterone levels. This systematic review and meta-analysis aimed to determine the association between obstructive sleep apnea and male serum testosterone level.

Methods: The literature related to obstructive sleep apnea and male serum testosterone in the PubMed, Embase, and Cochrane Library databases were searched from their inception to June 10, 2021.

The exploration of new hotspot nanomaterials to acquire mechanofluorochromic (MFC) properties has drawn substantial interest. However, previously reported MFC nanomaterials have required external pressures on the level of gigapascals, and observing distinct reversible MFC phenomena in nanomaterials under low-pressure conditions is still a challenge. Herein, a kind of reversible MFC-carbon dots (CDs) under low pressure has been reported for the first time.
