The lion-head goose is the only large goose species in China, and it is one of the largest goose species in the world. Lion-head geese have a strong tolerance for massive energy intake and show a priority of fat accumulation in liver tissue through special feeding. Therefore, the aim of this study was to investigate the impact of high feed intake compared to normal feeding conditions on the transcriptome changes associated with fatty liver development in lion-head geese.

The aMPV-C infection can lead to an upsurge in the rate of soft-shell eggs, resulting in reduced egg production and seriously affecting the economy of the livestock industry. Therefore, a rapid method for aMPV-C detection needs to be invented.

China's dairy product import volume and output continue to grow rapidly, and to a certain extent, it will form a substitute for the Chinese dairy market. Therefore, it is necessary to study the impact of the import of dairy products on the technological progress of raw milk production in China. Using the data from 2005 to 2017, this paper uses the DEA model and the input-output model to analyze the impact of China's dairy product imports on the technological progress of raw milk production.

In this paper, TiO ultrathin films were deposited on Si at 200 °C while ZrO and HfO were grown at 250 °C to fit their growth temperature window, by thermal atomic layer deposition (TALD) and plasma-enhanced ALD (PEALD). A variety of chemical liquid media including 1 mol/L HSO, 1 mol/L HCl, 1 mol/L KOH, 1 mol/L KCl, and 18 MΩ deionized water were used to test and compare chemical stability of all these as-deposited group IV metal oxides thin films, as well as post-annealed samples at various temperatures.

By combining the acquired electron energy-loss spectroscopy mapping, we are able to directly observe electron transfer from Ti to Ti and ionic displacements at the interface of bare LAO/STO and PZT/LAO/STO heterostructure unit cell by unit cell. No evidence of Ti is observed at the interface of the PZT/LAO/STO samples.

Spin-coated thin films of the polymer blends were treated by O2 reactive-ion etching (RIE). The PS constituent was selectively removed by O2 RIE, whereas the silicon-containing phase remained because of the high etching resistance of silicon.

Electromechanical response from the LaAlO3/SrTiO3 heterostructures is studied using combined piezoresponse force microscopy, electrostatic force microscopy, and scanning Kelvin probe microscopy. Oxygen vacancies are found to be responsible for the observed piezoelectric response but only for samples deposited with an oxygen pressure lower than 10(-5) mbar.
