In recent years, many new antitumor drugs have been approved for clinical use. Among them, antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs) are an innovative drug group that combines the advantages of chemotherapy with a cytotoxic drug and targeted therapy with monoclonal antibodies. However, although ADCs provide survival benefits to patients, their special composition and mode of action also lead to specific adverse effects.

A retention time (RT)-independent strategy for nontargeted screening of pesticide residues in herbs was exploited using liquid chromatography-quadrupole time-of-flight mass spectrometry (LC-QTOF MS). The core of this strategy is a fingerprint database coupled with a data-independent acquisition (DIA) scan mode of all ion fragmentation (AIF). In the fingerprint database, a total of 150 pesticides with quasimolecular ions and fragment ions at five-level collision energies were collected as qualified ions for screening.

Dietary intervention is a cornerstone of diabetes management, yet the optimal macronutrient composition remains an open question. In this study, mice were fed a western (W) diet, a moderately high-fat (MHF) diet, a high-protein-high-carbohydrate (HPHC) diet, or a high-protein-low-carbohydrate (HPLC) diet for 22 weeks to compare the effects of different dietary patterns on glucose homeostasis.

This study evaluates the evolution and focal points of research on death anxiety among cancer patients over the last three decades, utilizing bibliometric analyses. We analyzed publications related to death anxiety among cancer patients from January 1994 to January 2024 using data from the Web of Science Core Collection. Bibliometric indicators such as the number of publications, leading countries, institutions, and research themes were examined.

The practical application of room-temperature sodium-sulfur (RT Na-S) batteries is severely hindered by inhomogeneous sodium deposition and notorious sodium polysulfides (NaPSs) shuttling. Herein, novel sodium thiotellurate (NaTeS) interfaces are constructed both on the cathode and anode for Na-S batteries to simultaneously address the Na dendritic growth and polysulfides shuttling. On the cathode side, a heterostructural sodium sulfide/sodium telluride embedded in a carbon matrix (NaS/NaTe@C) is rationally designed through a facile carbothermal reaction, where the NaTeS interface will be in situ chemically obtained.

In this study, PVDF membrane was modified with ciprofloxacin (CIP) through co-blending to investigate the filtration properties, bacterial inhibition and fouling resistance. Modified membranes were prepared by adding 0.

For effective pacing, electrodes should exhibit flexibility, deformability, biocompatibility, and high conductivity/capacitance. Laser-induced graphene (LIG) shows promise due to its exceptional electrical and electrochemical properties.

Purpose: Radiation-induced dermatitis (RD) is a common side-effect of therapeutic ionizing radiation that can severely affect patient quality of life. This study aimed to develop a risk prediction model for the occurrence of RD in patients with cervical carcinoma undergoing chemoradiotherapy using electronic medical records (EMRs).
Methods: Using EMRs, the clinical data of patients who underwent simultaneous radiotherapy and chemotherapy at a tertiary cancer hospital between 2017 and 2022 were retrospectively collected, and the patients were divided into two groups: a training group and a validation group.
The first paired electrolysis-enabled arylation of quinoxalin-2(1)-ones was achieved using cyanoarenes as the arylation reagents. A variety of 3-arylquinoxalin-2(1)-ones with various important functional groups were obtained in moderate to good yields under metal- and chemical oxidant-free conditions. With a pair of reductive and oxidative processes occurring among the substrates and reaction intermediates, the power consumption can be dramatically reduced.

Traditional approaches of colpotomy are considered responsible for an inferior oncological outcome. Evidence on whether protective colpotomy could optimize minimally invasive technique and improve prognoses of women with early-stage cervical cancer remains limited.

Previous studies have analyzed the factors associated with diabetic macrovascular disease, although whether these factors are applicable to T2DM patients with carotid atherosclerosis remains unclear. Therefore, the aim of this study was to investigate the risk factors for the formation of carotid atherosclerotic plaque in hospitalized T2DM patients and to provide a theoretical basis for early prevention and treatment of carotid atherosclerosis in these patients.

The pyrylium salt of 6,7-dimethoxy-3-methyl isochromenylium tetrafluoroborate (DMMIC) was used to label the amino group of metabolites, and a reductant of dithiothreitol (DTT) was employed to stabilize the thiol group. By combining DMMIC derivatization with LC-MS, it was feasible to quantify the 13 main metabolites on the GAP in complex biological samples, which had good linearity ( = 0.

View Article and Find Full Text PDFThe decoding multivariate Temporal Response Function (decoder) or speech envelope reconstruction approach is a well-known tool for assessing the cortical tracking of speech envelope. It is used to analyse the correlation between the speech stimulus and the neural response. It is known that auditory late responses are enhanced with longer gaps between stimuli, but it is not clear if this applies to the decoder, and whether the addition of gaps/pauses in continuous speech could be used to increase the envelope reconstruction accuracy.
