Additional time error in association football is associated with interruption type and goal difference.

This study explores whether referees are biased when awarding additional time in Association Football. We collected data on Awarded Additional Time (AAT) granted by the referees and Calculated Additional Time (CAT), representing the interruption time meant to be considered for additional time according to the rulebook. Analysis of Additional Time Error (ATE), given as the difference between CAT and AAT, in the second half of German football Bundesliga season 2022/2023, revealed that referees award less AAT than warranted by interruptions (ATE = 2:10 ± 2:24 min).

Challenges and Modification Strategies on High-Voltage Layered Oxide Cathode for Sodium-Ion Batteries.

Sodium-ion batteries (SIBs) have attracted great attention due to their advantages on resource abundance, cost and safety. Layered oxide cathodes (LOCs) of SIBs possess high theoretical capacity, facile synthesis and low cost, and are promising candidates for large scale energy storage application. Increasing operating voltage is an effective strategy to achieve higher specific capacity and also high energy density of SIBs.

Previous studies considered a player's style as a combination of technical performances, failing to consider the spatial information. Therefore, this study aimed to characterize the playing styles of each playing position in the Chinese Football Super League (CSL) matches, integrating a recently adopted framework.

As the most common type of renal cell carcinoma (RCC), the renal clear cell carcinoma (ccRCC) is highly malignant and insensitive to chemotherapy or radiotherapy. Although systemic immunotherapies have been successfully applied to ccRCC in recent years, screening for patients who can benefit most from these therapies is still essential and challenging due to immunological heterogeneity of ccRCC patients. To this end, we implemented a series of deep investigation on the expression and clinic data of ccRCC from The Cancer Genome Atlas (TCGA) International Consortium for Cancer Genomics (ICGC).

A Novel Necroptosis-Related lncRNA Signature Predicts the Prognosis of Lung Adenocarcinoma.

Necroptosis is closely related to the tumorigenesis and development of cancer. An increasing number of studies have demonstrated that targeting necroptosis could be a novel treatment strategy for cancer. However, the predictive potential of necroptosis-related long noncoding RNAs (lncRNAs) in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD) still needs to be clarified.
