To study the impact of limestone powder (LP) fineness on the physical and mechanical characteristics of concrete, a total of 88 sets of LP concrete mixtures were designed, in which the LP content (0~35% of the mass of cementitious materials), LP-specific surface area (350-1000 m/kg), and water-binder ratio were used as testing factors. The experimental and theoretical approaches were performed to study the physical (slump) and mechanical properties (compressive strength and bond-slip behaviors with steel bars) of LP concrete. Secondly, the compressive activity index (CAI) was introduced as a measurement for quantifying the compressive activity of LP.

We propose a dual-wavelength scheme for a clipping-avoidance photonic analog-to-digital converter (PADC) operating at the sub-Nyquist sampling rate. The scheme utilizes two characteristics, the phase-wrapping feature of a PADC and the wavelength-sensitive feature of a phase modulator, equivalently performing a dual-modulus (DM) modulo operation to avoid clipping. Coupled with an unwrapping algorithm based on the Chinese remainder theorem (CRT), the proposed scheme enables signal reconstruction from the processed signals independent of the sampling rate.

Objective: To investigate the quantitative electroencephalography features of different brain lobe epilepsy.

Methods: The electroencephalogram data of adult patients diagnosed with epilepsy in the epilepsy clinic of the Second Affiliated Hospital of Shandong First Medical University from January 1, 2012 to December 31, 2016 were collected, 58 cases in total. They included 28 cases of frontal lobe epilepsy,12 cases of temporal lobe epilepsy, 9 cases of occipital lobe epilepsy, and 9 cases of parietal lobe epilepsy.

Objective: Our aim was to study the character of quantitative EEG of viral encephalitis.

Method: Collect the EEG data of hospitalized children with viral encephalitis diagnosed by pediatricians from January 2013 to September 2016, and EEG data of normal cases at the same age were control group. Using quantitative EEG analysis technologies to obtain power spectrum value, power spectrum value, 1 power spectrum value, 12 power spectrum value, 21 power spectrum value, and 12 power spectrum value.

The aim of this study was to examine the relationship between peripheral natural killer (NK) cells and recurrent miscarriage by improved methods. Peripheral NK cell measurement was carried out using flow cytometry of morning blood samples obtained in the early follicular phase, analysed within 8 h of collection. Eighty-five Chinese women with recurrent miscarriage who previously tested negative for autoantibodies, and 27 control subjects who were not using any hormonal methods for contraception, were recruited.
