Introduction: The traditional injection method of contrast media (CM) has limitations in terms of volume and imaging quality. Choosing the optimal CM injection method is crucial for ensuring high-quality images and accurate diagnosis in triple-rule-out computed tomography angiography (TRO-CTA). This study aims to investigate the application value of combining region of interest (ROI) with CM injection method alterations in TRO-CTA.

Axionlike particles (ALPs) and dark photons (DPs) are viable dark matter particle candidates. We have searched for possible ALP/DP signals in the PandaX-4T liquid xenon detector using 440  kg·yr of data. A binned likelihood fit is constructed to search for possible mono-energetic peaks induced by the absorption processes between ALPs/DPs and atomic electrons of xenon.

Seawater electrolysis, benefiting from the closeness to coastal areas, is recognized as a promising alternative for hydrogen (H) production to replace conventional technologies. However, the effectiveness of this method is limited by anode catalysts that exhibit high energy consumption and short lifespans due to chloride-induced chemical corrosion. Herein, we propose a hierarchical Ni phosphate@NiFe layered double hydroxide on Ni foam (NiPO@NiFe LDH/NF) towards alkaline seawater oxidation (ASO).

New particles beyond the standard model of particle physics, such as axions, can be effectively searched through their interactions with electrons. We use the large liquid xenon detector PandaX-4T to search for novel electronic recoil signals induced by solar axions, neutrinos with anomalous magnetic moment, axionlike particles, dark photons, and light fermionic dark matter. A detailed background model is established using the latest datasets with 1.

In this Letter, we report the dark matter search results from the commissioning run (Run0) and the first science run (Run1) of the PandaX-4T experiment. The two datasets were processed with a unified procedure, with the Run1 data treated blindly. The data processing is improved compared to previous work, unifying the low-level signal reconstruction in a wide energy range up to 120 keV.

Seawater electrolysis powered by renewable energy is a promising technique for green hydrogen production. However, the high concentration of chloride ions (Cl) and their derivatives in seawater can severely corrode the anode catalyst, significantly challenging the lifespan of electrolyzers. Herein, we present a poly(acid yellow 17) (PAY) layer-modified CoFe-layered double hydroxide nanoarrays on nickel foam (CoFe LDH@PAY/NF), which serves as an efficient and stable electrocatalyst for alkaline seawater oxidation (ASO).

Background: Medial and lateral epicondylitis, characterized by repetitive microtraumas to common flexor and extensor tendons, respectively, are common causes of elbow pain in adults. Though symptoms are generally self-limiting, 10% of cases are refractory to conservative management, persisting for greater than 18 months, and leading to surgery, which can have increased risk of complications. There is minimal data on sustained pain relief and functional benefit for newer nonsurgical management options, such as minimally invasive needle tenotomy (MINT), and platelet-rich plasma (PRP) for chronic elbow epicondylitis.

Pluripotent stem cells (PSCs) exhibit extraordinary differentiation potential and are thus highly valuable cellular model systems. However, although different PSC types corresponding to distinct stages of embryogenesis have been in common use, aspects of their cellular architecture and mechanobiology remain insufficiently understood. Here, we investigated how the actin cytoskeleton is regulated in different pluripotency states.

Phase transitions in the mantle control its internal dynamics and structure. The post-spinel transition marks the upper-lower mantle boundary, where ringwoodite dissociates into bridgmanite plus ferropericlase, and its Clapeyron slope regulates mantle flow across it. This interaction has previously been assumed to have no lateral spatial variations, based on the assumption of a linear post-spinel boundary in pressure and temperature.

Renewable energy-powered seawater electrolysis is a green and attractive technique for producing high-purity hydrogen. However, severe chlorideions (Cl) and their derivatives tend to corrode anodic catalysts at ampere-level current densities and hinder the application of seawater-to-H systems. Herein, a polycalmagite (PCM)-coated NiFe layered double hydroxide is presented on Ni foam (NiFe LDH@PCM/NF) that exhibits exceptional stability in alkaline seawater.

As global urbanization advances, the expansion of urban land has subjected cities to increasingly frequent and extensive external disturbances, often revealing limitations in disaster prevention and mitigation capacities, particularly in regions characterized by high urbanization, environmental degradation, and recurrent natural disasters. This study investigates the association between urban land expansion and urban resilience, developing a targeted analytical framework to assess their coupling and coordination. Leveraging remote sensing data on land use and socio-economic development indicators, we constructed a comprehensive evaluation index encompassing social, economic, ecological, and infrastructural dimensions.

Intercity trade in China generates significant embodied carbon transfers. Cross-border production can easily lead to carbon leakage, complicating the attribution and accounting of intercity emission responsibility. In both traditional methods (such as the "Production-Based Accounting" (PBA) and the "Consumption-Based Accounting" (CBA)), there are parties that benefit while others that face greater disadvantages.

Seawater electrolysis taking advantage of coastal/offshore areas is acknowledged as a potential way of large-scale producing H to substitute traditional technology. However, anodic catalysts with high overpotentials and limited lifespans (caused by chloride-induced competitive chemical reactions) hinder the system of seawater electrolysis for H production. Herein, we present a citrate anion (CA) modified NiFe layered double hydroxide nanosheet array on nickel foam (NiFe LDH@NiFe-CA/NF), which serves as an efficient and stable electrocatalyst towards long-term alkaline seawater oxidation.
