Objective: The family system is important for children's development. Previous research has demonstrated that some families are able to maintain good adaptability or resilience in the face of stressors. This study aimed to develop the revised Chinese version of the Family Resilience Assessment Scale and examine the psychometric properties of the scale among children disadvantaged in adversity due to family migration.

Head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSCC) is the sixth most common malignancy worldwide, with approximately 600,000 new cases each year. A small number of HNSCCs are caused by human papillomavirus (HPV) infection. Frizzled related protein (FRZB) has been reported in many inflammatory diseases and cancers, but it is yet unclear how FRZB affects HNSCC, as well as its role and underlying mechanism.

We describe characteristics of a contemporary cohort of patients with EDHs and identify factors influencing acute surgery.
Methods: This research was conducted within the longitudinal, observational Collaborative European NeuroTrauma Effectiveness Research in Traumatic Brain Injury cohort study which prospectively enrolled patients with traumatic brain injury from 65 hospitals in 18 European countries from 2014 to 2017.
The development of neurodegenerative diseases is closely related to the disruption of central nervous system homeostasis. Microglia, as innate immune cells, play important roles in the maintenance of central nervous system homeostasis, injury response, and neurodegenerative diseases. Lactate has been considered a metabolic waste product, but recent studies are revealing ever more of the physiological functions of lactate.

The current PRO-seq protocol is time-intensive, technically challenging, and requires a large amount of starting material. To overcome these limitations, we developed rapid PRO-seq (rPRO-seq) which utilizes pre-adenylated single-stranded DNAs (AppDNA), a dimer blocking oligonucleotide (DBO), on-bead 5' RNA end repair, and column-based purification.

Contrast-enhanced T1-weighted MR (cT1w MR) using half doses of gadoterate was used to guide daily adaptive radiotherapy for tumors poorly visualized without contrast. The use of gadoterate was found to be feasible and safe in 5-fraction MRgART and could improve the contrast-to-noise ratio of MR images.

This investigation explored the biohydrogen production by co-fermentation of corn straw (CS) and excess sludge (ES), as well as comprehensively analyzed the internal mechanism. The results showed that the optimal ratio of CS to ES was 9:1 (TS) with the biohydrogen yield of 101.

There are controversies about its effects on prognosis and may be associated with inferior outcomes in patients with newly diagnosed multiple myeloma (NDMM). To explore the optimal induction treatment, we analyzed and compared the efficacy of combinations of bortezomib-lenalidomide-dexamethasone (VRD) and only bortezomib-based triplet regimens without lenalidomide (only bortezomib-based) as induction therapy in patients with NDMM with 1q21 gain/Amp.

Copy number variation (CNV) is an essential genetic driving factor of cancer formation and progression, making intelligent classification based on CNV feasible. However, there are a few challenges in the current machine learning and deep learning methods, such as the design of base classifier combination schemes in ensemble methods and the selection of layers of neural networks, which often result in low accuracy. Therefore, an adaptive bilinear dynamic cascade model (Adap-BDCM) is developed to further enhance the accuracy and applicability of these methods for intelligent classification on CNV datasets.

Kiwifruit is one of the special species whose fruits may maintain green flesh by accumulating a large amount of chlorophyll even after ripening. However, little is known about the genetic variations related to the fruit degreening process.

However, during the operation of FCDI, the flow electrode in the S-shape channel is prone to sedimentation and clogging the channel. This undesirable phenomenon brings low efficiency and security issues.

Inspired by the characteristics of insect compound eye structure, we propose an infrared bionic compound eye camera based on a small lens array. The camera is composed of 61 small lens arrays mounted on a curved spherical shell and a relay optical system.

PCV has four subgenotypes, with PCV4 being an emerging virus that requires investigation due to its potential for epidemic outbreaks. Therefore, there is a need to develop a method that can detect all four PCV strains simultaneously.

Here we report the development and applicability of multi-omics in situ pairwise sequencing (MiP-seq), a method for the simultaneous detection of DNAs, RNAs, proteins and biomolecules at subcellular resolution. Compared with other in situ sequencing methods, MiP-seq enhances decoding capacity and reduces sequencing and imaging costs while maintaining the efficacy of detection of gene mutations, allele-specific expression and RNA modifications.
