The electrochemical properties of vanadium-based materials as cathode materials for aqueous zinc ion batteries are still restricted by low conductivity, sluggish reaction kinetics, and poor structural stability. Herein, the [VO] octahedron, as the basic unit of vanadium-oxide layer of ammonium vanadates (NHVO, denoted as NVO), is incorporated by F atoms to regulate the coordinated environment of vanadium. Density functional theory (DFT) calculations and experimental results show that both physicochemical and electrochemical properties of NVO are improved by F-doping.

Vanadyl phosphate (VOPO ·2H O) has been regarded as one of the most promising cathode materials for aqueous Zn-ion batteries due to its distinct layered structure. However, VOPO ·2H O has not yet demonstrated the exceptional Zn ion storage performance owing to the structural deterioration during repeated charging/discharging process and poor intrinsic conductivity. In this work, 2D sodium vanadyl phosphate (NaVOPO ·0.

The study was carried out to observe the effect of combination drug therapy during cesarean section in preventing postpartum hemorrhage for women with hypertensive disorder complicating pregnancy (HDCP). The 180 women who had been treated in our hospital for HDCP were enrolled and randomly divided into observation group (sublingual administration of carboprost combined with oxytocin treatment (20IU oxytocin and small pot drip of 10IU oxytocin after delivery) and control group (1mg of carboprost when the fetal head came out and then applied with intramuscular injection of 20IU oxytocin), each containing 90. The comparison of postpartum hemorrhage situation between two groups was carried out.

Although three monovalent EV-A71 vaccines have been launched in mainland China since 2016, hand, foot, and mouth disease (HFMD) still causes a considerable disease burden in China. Vaccines' use may change the epidemiological characters of HFMD. Spatial autocorrelation analysis and space-time scan statistics analysis were used to explore the spatiotemporal distribution pattern of this disease at the provincial level in mainland China.

Objective: To develop and internally validate a prediction model for 6-year risk of stroke and its primary subtypes in middle-aged and elderly Chinese population.

Design: This is a retrospective cohort study from a prospectively collected database.

Participants: We included a total 3124 adults aged 45-80 years, free of stroke or myocardial infarction at baseline in the 2009-2015 cohort of China Health and Nutrition Survey.

Objective: To investigate the relationship of group B (GBS) colonization in late pregnancy with perinatal outcome.

Methods: Pregnant women who underwent antenatal check-up at General Hospital of PLA Eastern Theater Command and the First Affiliated Hospital of Nanjing Medical University from January 2016 to December 2018 were enrolled in the study. The vaginal and rectal swab samples were collected for GBS culture at 35-37 weeks of pregnancy.

This study aimed to investigate the regulatory mechanism of linc00161/miR-128/MAPK1 axis on drug resistance of ovarian cancer. Methods: the differentially expressed lncRNAs were screened based on microarray analysis. The expression of linc00161, miR-128 and MAPK1 in ovarian cancer-resistant tissues and cells was tested qRT-PCR, whereas MAPK1 protein expression was examined via western blot in the ovarian cancer resistant cells.

Sensitive and specific biomarkers for the early detection of cervical cancer are urgently required to reduce the high morbidity and mortality of this disease. We previously demonstrated that circulating microRNAs (miRNAs) are correlated with certain types of human cancer. The aim of this study was to investigate the altered profile of serum miRNAs in cervical cancer patients in order to predict cervical cancer at a relative early stage.

Background: Müllerian duct anomalies are rare and occasionally diagnosed in adolescents with primary amenorrhea, abdominal pain, and sexual difficulties. They are present in a variety of forms and sometimes difficult to appropriately classify. The management of malformations remains controversial.

Background: Congenital cervical fragmentation is a very rare genital tract malformation that usually presents in adolescence with primary amenorrhea and cyclic, monthly, lower abdominal pain. We report a nearly normal case of congenital cervical fragmentation and successful end-to-end anastomosis.

Case: A 15-year-old girl presented with primary amenorrhea with cyclic, monthly lower abdominal pain lasting for 15 months without any abnormal imaging findings (pelvic CT scan, ultrasonography, and hysteroscopy).

Cervical cancer is one of the most common gynaecological women cancer and suggested to be modulated by estrogenic signals. G protein-coupled receptor (GPER), a seven-transmembrane G protein-coupled receptor, has been reported to regulate the cell proliferation of various cancers. But there is no study investigating the effects of GPER on the progression of cervical cancer.

Serum microRNAs (miRNAs), with their remarkable stability and unique concentration profiles in patients with various diseases, are promising non-invasive biomarkers for tumor detection. The present study investigated the altered profiles of serum microRNAs in patients with endometrioid endometrial cancer (EEC) in order to predict the malignancy of the disease at a relatively early stage. TaqMan low-density arrays (TDLAs) were used to perform an analysis in the initial screening phase using serum samples pooled from seven EEC patients and 20 controls.

Background: Endometrial carcinoma is a common malignancy of female genital tract. Insulin-like growth factor is known to elicit estrogen-induced mitogenic activity and anti-apoptotic effect in endometrial tissues.

Methods: The retrospective study investigated the expression of insulin-like growth factors, estrogen receptors and their associations in endometrioid adenocarcinoma (EAC) from 80 EAC patients in immunohistochemistry, and 58 EAC patients and 42 control patients in quantitative RT-PCR.

Background And Objective: Letrozole is an aromatase inhibitor that is used in the treatment of estrogen-sensitive tumors such as endometrial carcinoma, however, its therapeutic effect is still to be further improved. It is reported that curcumin has antitumor capability and can enhance the sensitivity of tumor cells to anticancer agents. This study was to investigate the inhibitory effect of letrozole combination with curcumin on the implanted endometrial tumor growth.

Objective: To report a true hermaphroditism due to a teragametic chimerism and to discuss the pathogenesis of tetragametic chimerism.

Methods: Chromosomal analysis and fluorescence in situ hybridization(FISH) were carried out on the lymphocytes from the blood and on the fibroblasts from the cultured skin and on fibroblasts from two different kinds of gonadal tissues of the patient with ambiguous genitalia respectively. Blood groups, human leukocyte antigen (HLA) haplotyping and 77 short tandem repeat (STR) microsatellite markers were tested.

Background & Objective: In many investigation it was demonstrated that intratumor microvessel density (IMD) is the best factor for no tumor survival for patients with ovarian cancer. Occult axillary node micrometastases as the prognostic factor for the patients with breast cancer was proved, but currently no literature of the pelvic lymph node micrometastases in ovarian cancer is provided. This study try to detect the microvessel density of tumor tissues and micrometastases of regional lymph nodes in ovarian cancer and to investigate the relationship between these two factors and their prognostic significance.
