Current treatments for acute myeloid leukemia (AML) remain challenging and are characterized by poor clinical outcomes. Exosomes, cell-derived membranous vesicles, have been emerging as a new modality of therapy. Here, we designed and generated genetically reprogrammed exosomes with surface-displayed antibodies and immunoregulatory proteins, namely programmed immune-engaging exosomes (PRIME Exos).

Asthma is a respiratory disease that can be exacerbated by certain environmental factors. Both formaldehyde (FA) and PM, the most common indoor and outdoor air pollutants in mainland China, are closely associated with the onset and development of asthma. To date, however, there is very little report available on whether there is an exacerbating effect of combined exposure to FA and PM at ambient concentrations.
