Although the durable efficacy of immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICIs) in BLCA has been confirmed in numerous studies, not all patients benefit from their application in the clinic. Platelets are increasingly being found to be closely associated with cancer progression and metastasis; however, their comprehensive role in BLCA remains unclear. We comprehensively explored platelet expression patterns in BLCA patients using an integrated set of 244 related genes.

Thus, we lucubrate the potential performance of ACER2 in bladder cancer (BLCA). We initially compared ACER2 expressions in BLCA with normal urothelium tissues based on data gathered from the Cancer Genome Atlas (TCGA) and our Xiangya cohort.

However, the biological functions of STC1 in modulating ferroptosis and glycolysis in prostate cancer are still not clear. The viability of PC-3 and DU145 cells was detected by CCK-8 assay.

To retrospectively review the multicenter outcome of patients with ureteral fibroepithelial polyps (UFPs) after endoscopic management with thulium laser. A total of 21 adult patients with UFPs were treated in three medical centers between May 2007 and June 2018. We performed ureteroscopy operation and resected the polyps with thulium laser.

Accumulating evidence revealed the elevated miR-155 levels both in serum and urine of nephrolithiasis patients. The aim of our research was to explore the role of miR-155 in CaOx-induced apoptosis in HK-2 cells.

Materials And Methods: We retrospectively analysed the treatment data of patients with 2-4 cm renal calculi from June 2010 to June 2017. The data included 217 cases of percutaneous nephrolithotomy (PNL), 441 cases of retrograde intrarenal surgery (RIRS) and 217 cases of single-access percutaneous nephrolithotomy combined with flexible nephroscopy (PNCFN).
Background: Acute kidney injury (AKI) is a complex clinical disorder with sudden decay in renal function. Ischemia-reperfusion injury (IRI) has been regarded as the main etiology for the occurrence of AKI. MicroRNAs have been consistently shown to be involved AKI.

Methods: Data were collected for 16 patients (mean age, 68.44 years) with scrotal Paget's disease treated with wide local excision combined with ALA PDT and followed up from June 2014 to February 2018.
BACKGROUND In developed countries, prostate cancer (PCa) is a frequently diagnosed cancer with the second highest fatality rate. Circular RNAs (circRNAs) are a class of endogenous non-coding RNAs (ncRNAs) stably expressed in cells and involved in a series of carcinomas. However, few research studies have reported on the role of circRNAs in PCa.

We retrospectively analyzed 205 patients with BPH who underwent a diode laser or thulium laser technique for prostate transurethral vaporesection from June 2016 to June 2017 and who were followed up for 3 months. Baseline characteristics of the patients, perioperative data, postoperative outcomes, and complications were compared.

Increasing evidence suggests that STC1 is involved in carcinogenesis; however, few studies have defined the mechanisms and functional roles of STC1 activity in prostate carcinogenesis. In the present study, MTT, flow cytometry and colony formation assays, and small interfering RNA (siRNA) and overexpression in multiple cell lines were used to investigate the function of STC1 in prostate carcinoma in vivo and in vivo.

Objective: To detect the levels of neutrophil gelatinase-associated lipocalin (NGAL), cystatin C (Cys-C ) in blood and the level of kidney injury molecule 1 (KIM-1) in urine in elderly patients with renal calculi at diff erent times, and to explore the eff ect of percutaneous nephrostolithotomy (PCNL) combined with flexible ureteroscopy (FU) on early postoperative renal function.
Methods: A total of 46 patients with renal calculi were selected, and their blood or urine specimens were collected respectively at preoperative and postoperative 2, 12, 24, 48, and 72 h. The concentrations of NGAL, Cys-C, KIM-1 were detected.
Objective: MicroRNA-100 (miR-100) has been demonstrated to be downregulated in bladder cancer tissues, and enforced expression of this miRNA may inhibit cell growth and colony formation of human bladder cancer 5637 cells in vitro. However, the clinical significance of miR-100 in human bladder cancer has not yet been elucidated. Thus, the aim of this study was to investigate the diagnostic and prognostic values of miR-100 in this disease.

Prostate cancer metastasis is often associated with poor prognosis. The molecular coupling of the adaptor protein Crk to the docking protein p130(Cas) serves as a switch that regulates cell migration in several invasive cancer cells and Ack appears to act upstream of CrkII to modulate the cell motility. However, the precise role of Ack, Crk and p130(Cas) complex in prostate cancer migration remains unknown.
