Our purpose was to study the roles and molecular mechanisms of long non-coding RNA (lncRNA) ZFPM2 Antisense RNA 1 (ZFPM2-AS1) in thyroid cancer. Firstly, the expression of ZFPM2-AS1, miR-515-5p and TUSC3 was detected in thyroid cancer tissues and cells. Secondary, their biological functions (proliferation, apoptosis, migration and invasion) were analyzed by a serious of functional experiments including cell counting kit-8 (CCK-8), clone formation, 5-Ethynyl-2'-deoxyuridine (EdU), enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA), wound healing and Transwell assays.

Background/aim: The current therapeutic strategies for endometrial cancer are limited and unsatisfactory. Accumulating evidence suggest that microRNAs (miRNAs) participate in tumor growth and metastasis. Mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) derived exosomes (Exos) are considered as better miRNA delivery vehicles.

Methods: The expression of in breast cancer tissues was detected by immunohistochemistry, and overall survival (OS) and recurrence free survival (RFS) were evaluated by the Log rank test and Cox model.
Background: The association of glutathione s-transferase P1 (GSTP1) Ile105Val polymorphism with risk of esophageal cancer (EC) has been evaluated in many studies; however, the results from these studies are controversial. Thus, further analysis on association between GSTP1 Ile105Val polymorphism and risk of EC is needed among a larger study population.
Method: We searched the relevant electronic databases and performed a meta-analysis based on 21 published case-control studies.
