Natural gas is recognized as a transitional clean energy fuel to address a variety of environmental problems. Identifying porous adsorbents with high-capacity low-temperature methane adsorption performances is crucial for advancing next-generation technologies for efficiently utilizing boil-off gas, inevitablely generated from liquefied natural gas systems. Herein, we synthesized highly porous metal-organic frameworks (MOFs)-TBPP-MOFs with a geometric mismatch strategy by combining seemingly incompatible trinuclear clusters with octatopic pyrene-based ligands.

The liquefied natural gas and adsorbed natural gas (LNG-ANG) coupling systems are emerging as an attractive solution to solve boil-off gases generated by LNG tanks. Metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) are promising candidates for methane storage and delivery owing to their high porosity, large specific surface area, and tunable pore structures. However, systematically tuning LNG-ANG-related methane adsorption performance of MOFs has yet to be explored.

This study was designed to examine the relative safety and efficacy of sevelamer in the treatment of chronic kidney disease (CKD) patients in comparison to placebo, calcium carbonate (CC), or lanthanum carbonate (LC). The PubMed, Embase, Cochrane Library, and China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI) databases were searched for articles published through 18 June 2022. The quality of relevant studies was independently analyzed by two investigators who also extracted data from these manuscripts as per Cochrane Collaboration Handbook 5.
