Reasonably constructing nanocomposite photocatalysts with fast charge transfer and broad solar response capabilities is significant for efficiently converting solar energy into chemical energy. Cu modifies P25/CeO heterojunctions prepared by photodeposition (P25 is commercial TiO). The local surface plasmon resonance (LSPR) effect caused by Cu nanoparticles broadens the spectral response range and generates significant photothermal effects.

However, the removal mechanism of organic pollutants and the gas-solid phase distribution of the pollutants remain unclear. In this study, coking contaminated soils with high concentrations of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) and petroleum hydrocarbon (PHC) were used to prepare ceramsite at 1160 °C.

In addition to insulin and oral hypoglycemic agents, traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) was an effective alternative therapy for diabetes and its complications, and it had been widely used in the Pan-Pacific region, especially in Southeast Asia, however, TCM lacked specialized standards of care for DM in the past, which limited the TCM clinical efficacy of diabetes. Since March 2017, the Endocrinology Committee of World Federation of Chinese Medicine Societies (WFCMS) had invited experts in diabetes, TCM, and international standard setting to work with TCM endocrinologists from the Guideline Development Committee to review the TCM clinical research evidence related to the prevention and treatment of diabetes over the previous 14 years.

In particular, the brain is important in initiating and coordinating protective counterregulatory responses when blood glucose levels fall. This may due to the metabolic dependency of the CNS on glucose, and protection of food supply to the brain.
