Three new compounds, (8)-2,2,7,7-tetramethyl-8-hydroxymethyl-6-indanone-(2,3-b)-2-pyran-9-O--d-glucopyranoside (), (7,8)-2,2,7-trimethyl-7-hydroxymethyl-8-hydroxy-2,7,8,9-tetrahydro-6-naphtho-(2,3-b)-pyran-10-O--d-glucopyranoside (), 1-deoxy-1-(3,4-dihydro-7-methyl-2,3-dioxo-1(2)-quinoxalinyl)pentitol-6-carboxylic acid (3), as well as six known compounds (), were obtained. Their structures were determined by spectroscopy and comparison with NMR data of related compounds. Absolute configurations were determined by ECD spectroscopy.

This study was to quantitatively investigate the role of morphological and functional parameters of the left atrium (LA) and left atrial appendage (LAA) with 256-slice spiral computed tomography (CT) in the recurrence of atrial fibrillation (AF) after radiofrequency ablation (RFA). Eighty-three patients with AF who underwent RFA for the first time were divided into the recurrence (n = 27) and non-recurrence (n = 56) groups. All patients underwent a 256-slice spiral CT examination before the operation.
