Article Synopsis
  • Frequency hopping spread spectrum (FHSS) is a communication technique that rapidly changes frequencies to enhance signal quality and secure data transmission.
  • This research developed a method to accurately identify hopping times within FHSS signals using a two-dimensional temporal correlation function (TCF) and various processing techniques to improve detection in noisy settings.
  • Results from extensive Monte Carlo simulations showed that the new approach achieved reliable hopping time estimation with a significantly reduced false detection rate compared to previous methods.

Objective: Glucose homeostasis is the only way to manage diabetic progression as all medications used do not cure diabetes. This study was aimed at verifying the feasibility of lowering glucose with non-invasive ultrasonic stimulation.

Methods: The ultrasonic device was homemade and controlled via a mobile application on the smartphone.

Linear frequency modulation (LFM) waveforms have high Doppler-shift endurance because of the relative wide modulation bandwidth to the Doppler variation. The Doppler shift of the moving objects, nevertheless, constantly introduces obscure detection range offsets despite the exceptional Doppler tolerance in detection energy loss from LFM. An up-down-chirped LFM waveform is an efficient scheme to resolve the true target location and velocity by averaging the detection offset of two detection pairs from each single chirp LFM in opposite slopes.
