Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19), an infectious disease caused by severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2), has spread globally, posing a significant threat to human health. Rapid and accurate detection of infectious disease pathogens is of crucial practical significance for early screening, timely intervention, and outbreak prevention. However, conventional diagnostic methods are increasingly unable to meet clinical demands.

The differences in phenotype and nutritional traits and their interactions in Zanthoxylum planispinum var. dingtanensis were ascertained, and the nutrient input rule and the strategy of resource balancing were analyzed in order to provide a scientific basis for the screening of improved variants of the test plant.

Objectives: This study aims to develop a novel diagnostic approach using the recombinase aided amplification-lateral flow dipstick(RAA-LFD) assay for the distinction of (MTB) and (MAC), enabling rapid and convenient as well as accurate identification of them in clinical samples.
Methods: Our study established a duplex RAA-LFD assay capable of discriminating between MTB and MAC. Based on the principles of RAA primer and probe design, specific primers and probes were developed targeting the MTB and the MAC separately.
Background: Primary cervical cancer screening and treating precancerous lesions are effective ways to prevent cervical cancer. However, the coverage rates of human papillomavirus (HPV) vaccines and routine screening are low in most developing countries and even some developed countries. This study aimed to explore the benefit of an artificial intelligence-assisted cytology (AI) system in a screening program for a cervical cancer high-risk population in China.

Lipopolysaccharides (LPS) derived from Gram-negative bacteria are a common endotoxin, and both toxins have effects on human and livestock health. During animal feeding, ZEA as an exotoxin and LPS as an endotoxin have the potential to co-exist in organisms.

First of all, WGCNA was used to analyse 9451 genes with significant changes in TB patients' whole blood. The 220 interferon-γ-related genes were identified, and then 30 key genes were screened using Cytoscape.

Taraxasterol, isolated from , has anti-inflammatory, antioxidative stress, and antitumor effects. In the present study, bovine mammary epithelial cells (MAC-T) were used as a model, and different concentrations of taraxasterol (0, 1, 5, 10, and 20 μg/mL) were used to protect against DON-induced cell damage.

However, few studies have been conducted on the microecological analysis of cervical diseases using strict physiological factors. This study investigated the characteristics and dynamics of cervical microecology in childbearing-age Chinese women with different degrees of HR-HPV-positive cervical lesions.

The aim of this study is to identify potential biomarker of tuberculosis (TB) and determine its function. Differentially expressed mRNAs(DEGs) were selected from a blood database GSE101805, and then, 30 key genes were screened using STING, Cytoscape and further functionally enriched. We then found that only 6 of 13 genes related to ubiquitination (the first in the functional enrichment) were increased significantly.

Objective: To analyze the characteristics of cervical microecology in late reproductive-age women with cervical lesions and explore new methods for preventing cervical lesions.
Methods: Cervical smears were obtained from a total of 147 women of late reproductive age, including 24 with high-risk HPV infection (HR-HPV), 27 with low-grade squamous intra-epithelial lesions (LSIL), 36 with high-grade squamous intra-epithelial lesions (HSIL), 35 with cervical cancer (CC) and 25 healthy women. llumina MiSeq sequencing of V3-V4 region of the 16S rRNA gene amplicons was used to characterize the vaginal microbiota of the women.
Ferroptosis is a form of oxidative cell death and has become a chemotherapeutic target for cancer treatment. Curcumin (CUR), a well-known cancer inhibitor, significantly inhibits the viability of breast cancer cells. Through transcriptomic analysis and flow cytometry experiments, it was found that after 48 hours of treatment of breast cancer cells at its half maximal inhibitory concentration (IC50), curcumin suppressed the viability of cancer cells via induction of ferroptotic death.
