Our study aimed to investigate risk factors affecting NMOSD relapse and to establish a relapse prediction model within 1 year after the first onset, providing a reference for individualized diagnosis and treatment of NMOSD patients.
Methods: We retrospectively analyzed clinical data of 102 NMOSD patients admitted to the Second Affiliated Hospital of Soochow University and the Second People's Hospital of Wuxi from January 2020 to August 2023 at their initial presentation.

Fischer-Tropsch synthesis represents a key endeavor aimed at converting nonpetroleum carbon resources into clean fuels and valuable chemicals. However, the current state-of-the-art industrial FTS employing Fe-based catalysts is still challenged by the low carbon efficiency (<50%), mainly attributed to the prominent formation of CO and CH resulting from the nonregulated side water gas shift reaction. Herein, we describe a shielding strategy involving the encapsulation of the active Hägg carbide (χ-FeC) by a graphene layer, exhibiting excellent resilience under reaction conditions and exposure to air, thereby eliminating the need for reduction or activation before the Fischer-Tropsch synthesis reaction.

In this paper, we use first-principles calculations to systematically study the strain effects on the vacuum level, Fermi level, and WF of the Au(111) surface. We find that the vacuum level and Fermi level of the Au(111) surface increase under compressive strain and decrease under tensile strain, and the effects of biaxial strain on the vacuum level and Fermi level can be equivalent to the superposition of two perpendicular uniaxial strains.

Method: Using adaptive optics scanning laser ophthalmoscopy, the maculae were imaged in 17 eyes of 11 subjects with normal chorioretinal health aged 54 to 72 years. We measured cone density at 325 points within the central 10 degrees radius of the retina.
