Ticks play an important role in the evolution and transmission of Anaplasmataceae bacteria which are agents of emerging infectious diseases. In this study, a total of 1286 adult ticks belonging to five species were collected from cattle, goats, horses and vegetation in Harbin area, Heilongjiang province, northeastern China.
