Background: In recent years, Autoimmune diseases (ADs) and hearing loss are both significant public health burdens worldwide. An increasing number of studies are focusing on the potential link between these two diseases and exploring how hearing loss can be prevented and treated in the context of autoimmune diseases. In response to this focus, it is very necessary to conduct bibliometric analysis and molecular mechanism exploration to provide guidance for the exploration of basic mechanisms and clinical management.

Using this strategy, two series of 2-alkenylindoles bearing both axial and central chirality were synthesized in a diastereodivergent fashion with moderate to high yields and good stereoselectivities (up to 99% yield, 95:5 er, >95:5 dr). Moreover, theoretical calculations were performed on the key transition states leading to different stereoisomers, which provided an in-depth understanding of the origin of the observed stereoselectivity and diastereodivergence of the products under different reaction conditions.

Although it has shown promise as a therapeutic target, clinical trials are demonstrating the need for more potent targeting approaches. This need is driving innovation towards the development of novel antibodies and the exploration of strategic combinations with a range of immunotherapies.

By this strategy, a series of N-N axially chiral indolylamides were synthesized in overall good yields (up to 98%) with excellent enantioselectivities (up to 99% ee). Moreover, some of these N-N axially chiral indolylamides display some extent of anticancer activity, which demonstrates their potential application in medicinal chemistry.

This review assesses the impact of resistance training on quality of life in type 2 diabetes patients, addressing the ongoing debate over its role in diabetes management and the potential to enhance clinical outcomes.
Methods: Systematic review and meta-analysis of randomized controlled trials regarding assessing effects from resistance training on quality of life among diabetic patients.
KRAS is one of the leading mutations reported in colon cancer. However, there are few studies on the application of KRAS related signature in predicting prognosis and drug sensitivity of colon cancer patient. We identified KRAS related differentially expressed genes (DEGs) using The Cancer Genome Atlas (TCGA) database.

Avicennia marina is a pioneer mangrove species in coastal wetland. To cope with the periodic intertidal flooding and hypoxia environment, this species has developed a complex and extensive root system, with its most unique feature being a pneumatophore with a distinct above- and below-ground morphology and vascular structure.

The reaction mechanism was suggested to involve the formation of 3-indolylmethanol intermediates and vinyliminium intermediates, which played an important role in controlling the reactivity and diastereoselectivity of the (4 + 1) cycloaddition under Bro̷nsted acid catalysis. By this approach, a series of benzo oxaphospholes bearing - and -stereocenters were synthesized in moderate to good yields (50%-95% yields) with excellent diastereoselectivities (all >95:5 dr).

Methods: This retrospective study enrolled 894 patients with stage II NPC (596 and 298 in the training and validation cohorts, respectively) with pretreatment MRI between August 2010 and May 2019. All patients received IMRT with or without additional chemotherapy.
The rapidly increasing use of high-throughput screening had produced a plethora of expanding knowledge on the molecular basis of natural killer/T-cell lymphoma (NKTCL), which in turn has revolutionized the treatment. Specifically, the use of asparaginase-containing regimens has led to substantial improvement in survival outcomes in NKTCL patients. Novel treatment strategies that are currently under development include cell-surface-targeted antibodies, immune checkpoint inhibitors, Epstein-Barr virus targeted cytotoxic T lymphocyte, immunomodulatory agents, chimeric antigen receptor T cells, signaling pathway inhibitors and epigenetic targeted agents.

Forkhead box D1 (FOXD1) serves a critical role in colorectal cancer (CRC). FOXD1 expression is an independent prognostic factor in patients with CRC; however, the molecular mechanism and signaling pathway of FOXD1 that regulates cell stemness and chemoresistance has not been fully characterized. The aim of the present study was to further validate the effect of FOXD1 on the proliferation and migration of CRC cells, and to delve into the possible potential of FOXD1 in the clinical treatment of CRC.
