View Article and Find Full Text PDFTo elucidate the effects of Hg pollution on soil organic carbon stability and autotrophic microbial carbon assimilation, the characteristics of soil CO emission rate, organic carbon components, and and functional microorganisms before and after 29 d of Hg pollution were studied using indoor culture experiments and molecular biology techniques. The results showed that the effects of different levels of Hg pollution on soil CO emission rates were different. High levels of Hg (S2,S3,and S5) inhibited soil CO cumulative emissions, whereas low levels of Hg (S1,S4,and S6) promoted soil carbon emissions.

The title CuIPS-type binuclear complex, di-μ-iodido-bis[(thiourea-κS)(triphenylphosphine-κP)copper(I)], [CuI(CHNS)(CHP)], conventionally abbreviated as CuITPPTU, where TPP and TU represent triphenylphosphine and thiourea, respectively, is described. In this complex, each Cu atom adopts a CuIPS four-coordination mode and pairs of atoms are connected to each other by two μ-I ligands to form a centrosymmetric binuclear cluster.

Background: Treacher Collins Ι syndrome (TCS1, OMIM:154500) is an autosomal dominant disease with a series of clinical manifestations such as craniofacial dysplasia including eye and ear abnormalities, small jaw deformity, cleft lip, as well as repeated respiratory tract infection and conductive hearing loss. Two cases of Treacher Collins syndrome with TCOF1(OMIM:606847) gene variations were reported in the article, with clinical characteristics, gene variants and the etiology.
Methods: The clinical data of two patients with Treacher Collins syndrome caused by TCOF1 gene variation were retrospectively analyzed.

Methods: This retrospective study used the Medical Information Mart for Intensive Care IV database to analyze serum phosphate levels in sepsis patients within 3 days of ICU admission. According to the absolute value of delta serum phosphate (the maximum value minus the minimum value of serum phosphorus measured within three days), the patients were divided into four groups, 0-1.
Immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICIs) have limited efficacy in mismatch repair proficient (pMMR) or metastatic microsatellite stable (MSS) advanced or metastatic colorectal cancer (mCRC). ICIs, in conjunction with tyrosine kinase inhibitors (TKIs) possessing anti-angiogenic properties, serve as a potential strategy for circumventing the resistance exhibited by MSS or pMMR mCRC to immunotherapeutic interventions.
