Drug recommendation for optimization on treatment outcome for MDR/RR-TB based on a multi-center, large scale, retrospective cohort study in China.

Objective: With the change in drug-resistant pattern, MDR/RR-TB was faced with underlying changes in regimens. A multi-center, large-scale, retrospective study performed aims to provide a recommendation of drug selection on optimization of outcome for the patients.

Method: The study was conducted in six TB-specialized hospitals in China.

DLC1 inhibits colon adenocarcinoma cell migration by promoting secretion of the neurotrophic factor MANF.

DLC1 (deleted in liver cancer-1) is downregulated or deleted in colorectal cancer (CRC) tissues and functions as a potent tumor suppressor, but the underlying molecular mechanism remains elusive. We found that the conditioned medium (CM) collected from DLC1-overexpressed SW1116 cells inhibited the migration of colon adenocarcinoma cells HCT116 and SW1116, but had no effect on proliferation, which suggested DLC1-mediated secretory components containing a specific inhibitor for colon adenocarcinoma cell migration. Analysis by mass spectrometry identified mesencephalic astrocyte-derived neurotrophic factor (MANF) as a candidate.

Analysis of enzymolysis process kinetics and estimation of the resource conversion efficiency to corn cobs with alkali soaking, water and acid steam explosion pretreatments.

This short communication analyzed enzymolysis kinetics and estimated the resource conversion efficiency of corn cobs. Three pretreatments were applied, and enzymatic hydrolysis was performed to obtain solid residues. The enzymolysis process was fit to a modified logistic formula.

[Cloning and expression analysis of tocopherol cyclase gene in Carthamus tinctorius].

The tocopherol cyclase was one of the key enzymes in plant vitamin E biosynthesis pathway. According to the study of Carthamus tinctorius transcriptome data,the Tocopherol cyclase gene was obtained using RT-PCR techniques and named CtTC . Bioinformatics analysis showed theopen reading frame （ORF）of CtTC was 1 524 bp.
