To explore the source information and composition characteristics of dissolved organic matter (DOM) in different regions of water bodies in northern cities, considering the urban water system of Shijiazhuang, Hebei Province as an example, ultraviolet-visible spectroscopy (UV-vis) and three-dimensional fluorescence parallel factor analysis (EEM-PARAFAC) were used to explain the optical parameters, abundance, and proportion of different components of DOM in water bodies of different regions. The results showed that: ① The concentrations of NO-N, NO-N, NH-N, TN, TP, and COD in the upstream were significantly lower than those in urban water bodies and downstream (<0.01), and TSI increased after the water entered the city.

In this work, we employed the fluorophore 2'-hydroxychalcone (HC), fluorescence properties of which are easily influenced by the excited-state intramolecular proton transfer and twisted intramolecular charge transfer (TICT) effects, to develop a novel type of temperature-sensitive polymers, hydroxychalcone-based polymers (HCPs). By controlling the temperature-dependent water microenvironments in HCPs, the intramolecular hydrogen bonds between water and HCPs can be regulated, thereby influencing the TICT process and leading to thermo-induced fluorescence enhancement, which shows a contrary tendency compared to typical AIEgens that always exhibit fluorescence attenuation as the thermal energy accelerates the molecular motion.

Methods: Based on the rs-fMRI data of 36 non-NPSLE patients and 30 normal controls, we first obtained the regions with abnormal ALFF signals in non-NPSLE patients. Then, by taking these areas as seed regions of interest (ROIs), we calculated the FC between ROIs and the whole brain to assess the network-level alterations.
Purpose: To evaluate the role of adjuvant radiotherapy after narrow-margin (<1.0 cm) resection in patients with intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma (ICC) adherent to major vessels.
Patients And Methods: This retrospective study included 70 ICC patients.
The samples in the surroundings of three representative petrochemical industries in Northwest China were collected by summa canister/adsorption using activated carbon/glass fiber filter, and then they were analyzed for 13 hazardous air pollutants by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry/gas chromatograph/high performance liquid chromatography. The pollution characteristics and human health risk of hazardous air pollutants were discussed. The results showed that 8 hazardous air pollutants existed in the surroundings of all petrochemical industries.

Methods: Four-dimensional computed tomography images from 30 liver cancer patients under thermoplastic mask immobilization were selected for this study. Three to seven surgical clips were placed in the resection cavity of each patient.
