While CKLF-like MARVEL transmembrane domain containing 6 (CMTM6)'s role in stabilizing PD-L1 and immune evasion within tumors is established, its expression in lung cancer tissue and adjacent macrophages remains uncertain. The study aimed to elucidate this ambiguity by investigating CMTM6's role in non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) prognosis. Employing immunohistochemical staining on 141 NSCLC and 110 adjacent normal lung tissue samples, CMTM6 expression was evaluated using the HSCORE system.
View Article and Find Full Text PDFThree new cadmium coordination polymers, namely [Cd(NO₃)₂(DPNDI)(CH₃OH)]·CH₃OH (), [Cd(SCN)₂(DPNDI)] (), and [Cd(DPNDI)₂(DMF)₂]·2ClO₄ () (DPNDI = ,-di(4-pyridyl)-1,4,5,8-naphthalene diimide, DMF = ,-dimethylformamide) have been synthesized by reactions of DPNDI with Cd(NO₃)₂, Cd(SCN)₂, and Cd(ClO₄)₂, respectively. Compound is a one-dimensional coordination polymer with strong lone pair-π interactions between the coordinated NO₃ anions and the imide ring of DPNDI; while is a two-dimensional network with a (4, 4) net topology. In the case of , due to the presence of uncoordinated perchlorate counter ions, it exhibits a non-interpenetrated square-grid coordination polymer containing one-dimensional rhomboid channels.
View Article and Find Full Text PDFA chemodosimeter was designed to function as a highly selective phosphate ion (Pi ) sensor, showing a 91-fold ratiometric fluorescence enhancement. The probe successfully visualized exogenous and endogenous apyrase-catalyzed Pi generation and was the first probe able to trace the generation and enrichment of Pi through hemichannel closure in Sf9 cells.
View Article and Find Full Text PDFA 1,8-naphthalimide-Cu(II) ensemble was rationally designed and synthesized as a new turn-on fluorescent probe utilizing the 'chemosensing ensemble' method for detections of thiols (Cys, Hcy and GSH) with high selectivity over other α-amino acids at pH 7.4 in organic aqueous media (EtOH/HEPES, v/v=9:1). The recognition mechanism was attributed to the remove Cu(II) from the 1,8-naphthalimide-Cu(II) ensemble by thiols and the release of flurescence of ligand 1.
