Methods: We searched PubMed, EMBASE and the Cochrane Central Register for studies from 2000 to 2020 to evaluate the perioperative outcomes of RPN and LPN in patients with a RENAL nephrometry score ≥7.

[Clinical Practice of Multiple Disciplinary Team Care Model Following the Concept of Palliative Care for Advanced Head and Neck Cancer:Report of One Case].

We provided the palliative care of a multiple disciplinary team care mode to a patient diagnosed with advanced head and neck cancer and her caregivers.People-centered integrated health services were provided according to the specific needs and preferences of individuals.The team-based palliative care relieved the suffering and improved the quality of life of the patient and that of her family who were facing challenges associated with life-threatening illness.

Tetrastigma Hemsleyanum Diels & Gilg (TDG) has attracted growing attention in China; however, there were few studies on its bioactive components. Herein, the characteristic chemical components and dual antioxidant and neuraminidase inhibitory activities of fifteen batches of TDG from different places of origin and their relevance were investigated. The HPLC fingerprint was first established and the marker components were identified by using UPLC-Q-TOF-MS/MS.

Multidisciplinary treatment of deep neck infection associated with descending necrotizing mediastinitis: a single-centre experience.

Objective: Deep neck infection (DNI) associated with descending necrotizing mediastinitis (DNM) is a highly lethal condition. This retrospective review was performed to share our experience performing multidisciplinary management of DNI associated with DNM during a 7-year period.

Methods: We reviewed 16 patients who had been surgically treated for DNM at Peking Union Medical College Hospital from April 2010 to July 2017.

Effect of lipid metabolism disorder on liver function in patients with malignant tumors after chemotherapy: a case-control study.

Background: This study aims to investigate the effect of lipid metabolism disorder on liver function in patients with malignant tumors after chemotherapy.

Method: A total of 428 patients with malignant tumors with normal liver function in our hospital between May 2013 to June 2018 were divided into an observation group (lipid metabolism disorder, n = 265) and control group (normal lipid metabolism, n = 163). The lipid metabolism levels and liver damage of the two groups were compared before and after chemotherapy.

Transurethral resection of the prostate versus prostatic artery embolization in the treatment of benign prostatic hyperplasia: a meta-analysis.

Background: To compare the clinical efficiency and safety of transurethral resection of the prostate (TURP) and prostatic artery embolization (PAE) for the treatment of Benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH).

Methods: We searched PUBMED, EMBASE and the Cochrane Central Register for studies from May 1998 to May 2018 for studies comparing the efficiency and safety of TURP with PAE. Four studies met the inclusion criteria for our meta-analysis.

Background: Investigating the roles of lncRNA prostate cancer-associated transcript 6 (PCAT6) in modulating the growth and aggressiveness of non-small-cell lung carcinoma (NSCLC) cell.

Method: The levels of PCAT6 in NSCLC tissues and cell lines were determined by quantitative real-time PCR assay. MTT as well as colony formation assays were applied to explore the effect of PCAT6 on the growth of NSCLC cell in vitro.

Oral squamous cell carcinoma (OSCC) is a highly invasive lesion that frequently metastasizes to the cervical lymph nodes and is associated with a poor prognosis. Several adhesion factors, including cadherin 6 (CDH6), cadherin 11 (CDH11) and cluster of differentiation 44 (CD44), have been reported to be involved in the invasion and metastasis of multiple types of cancer. Therefore, the aim of the present study was to determine the expression of CDH6, CDH11 and CD44 in tumor tissues from patients with OSCC, and whether this was associated with the metastasis and survival of OSCC.

[Population Status of Centropus sinensis in Guangxi Province].

Objective: T0 understand the population distribution, species abundance and habitats requirement of a medicinal animal, Centropus sinensis, in Guangxi Province.

Methods: Line transect methods were used to census population number and habitat types in 18 counties or cities of Guangxi.

Results: Centropus sinensis distributed in all study area, with a higher population density in the south than in the north.

Update on the distribution range of the white-browed crake (Porzana cinerea): a new record from mainland China.

Since 1980, the white-browed crake (Porzana cinerea) has been experiencing an expansion from south of the Isthmus of Kra, northward to China. Recently, this species was observed in several locations throughout Southwest China, including Ningming and Baise, Guangxi (2012, 2013), and Xichang, Sichuan (2013). These sightings are the first distribution record of this species in mainland China, suggesting that the white-browed crake is following a natural species dispersal northward into mainland China from Southeast Asia.

[The application of free tissue flap in simultaneous reconstruction of defects after tongue cancer].

Objective: To discuss the feasibility of using free tissue flap for simultaneous tongue reconstruction after tongue cancer resection.

Method: Radial forearm flaps and anterolateral thigh flaps were used for simultaneous reconstruction of different defects after tongue cancer resection in 47 cases. The functional evaluation was assessed during the follow-up period of 3 months to 9 years.

[Reconstruction of large through-and-through palate defects with folded free forearm flap].

Objective: To explore the reconstruction method of large through-and-through palate defects.

Methods: From 2003 to 2006, 7 cases of large through-and-through palate defects were reconstructed with vascularized folded free forearm flap. 8 flaps were used, including 7 free forearm flaps and 1 pectoralis major myocutaneous flap.
