Background: Primary pulmonary hyalinizing clear cell carcinoma (HCCC) is an exceedingly rare tumor with unique clinicopathological features, posing major diagnostic challenges.

Case Presentation: We present a case of a 74-year-old woman with a lung nodule incidentally detected in the right middle lobe (RML) through F-fluorodeoxyglucose positron emission tomography/computed tomography (F-FDG PET/CT) imaging. Through comprehensive evaluations by thoracic surgeons, she underwent video-assisted thoracic surgery of RML lobectomy to excise the lung nodule.

Secretory carcinoma (SC) is a low-grade salivary gland carcinoma characterized by recurrent ETV6 rearrangements. Most cases have ETV6-NTRK3 fusions, while the minority of cases have non-NTRK3 fusions, including ETV6-RET and ETV6-MET. Detection of the fusion partner has become important, as there are TRK or RET inhibitors that may benefit patients with advanced SC.

SMARCB1(INI1)-deficient sinonasal carcinoma is a recently recognized entity with wide histomorphologic spectrum. The classification of sinonasal adenocarcinoma (SNAC) is complex and yet to be redefined, especially the category of high-grade non-intestinal-type SNAC. The aim of this study was to investigate the ameliorative effects of fish oil on hepatic injury in ethanol-fed rats based on the intestinal permeability and microbiota. Rats were assigned to 6 groups and fed either a control diet or an ethanol diet such as C (control), CF25 (control with 25% fish oil), CF57 (control with 57% fish oil), E (ethanol), EF25 (ethanol with 25% fish oil), and EF57 (ethanol with 57% fish oil) groups. Rats were sacrificed at the end of 8 weeks.
