Objective: This study aimed to compare the outcomes of unilateral biportal endoscopy, unilateral laminectomy bilateral decompression (UBE-ULBD), and open lumbar decompression (OLD) in patients with lumbar epidural lipomatosis (LEL).
Methods: This prospective observational study was conducted from March 2019 to May 2022 and encompassed 33 patients with LEL who underwent lumbar decompression. The study included 15 cases of UBE-ULBD decompression and 18 cases of open decompression, which were followed up for 1 year.
Envy has been widely discussed as a type of consumption motivation and a consumer attitude towards specific consumer goods in the context of social media. However, research on envy in tourism consumption decision-making is still relatively scarce. Accordingly, adopting social cognitive theory while considering benign envy, this study discusses the impact of social media content on consumers' destination envy and behavioural intention during the COVID-19 pandemic.

It shows a great improvement in the HER activity in comparison with that of nanostructured Co.

However, the stability of transition metals in nanostructured platinum alloys is a fundamental and practical problem in electrocatalysis, due to leaching of transition metals under acidic operating condition. Here, a corrosion method has been developed for a Pt-Cu electrocatalyst with high activity (6.

A proof-of-concept strategy for significant enhancement of hydrogen evolution reaction (HER) performance of transition metals via construction of a metal/semiconductor Schottky junction is presented. The decoration of low-cost commercial TiO nanoparticles on the surface of microscale Co dendrites causes a significant charge transfer across the Co/TiO Schottky interface and enhances the local electron density at the Co surface, confirmed by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy results and density functional theory calculations. The Co/TiO Schottky catalyst displays superior HER activity with a turnover frequency of 0.

Interfacial n-p homojunctions of TiO are fabricated by directly decorating interfacial p-type titanium-defected TiO around n-type oxygen-defected TiO nanocrystals in amorphous-anatase homogeneous nanostructures. Experimental measurements and theoretical calculations on the cell lattice parameters show that the homojunction of oxygen and titanium vacancies changes the charge density of TiO ; a strong EPR signal caused by oxygen vacancies and an unreported strong titanium vacancies signal of 2D H TQ-SQ MAS NMR are present.

In order to understand the population characteristics of two predatory mites, Macrocheles glaber Müller and Stratiolaelaps scimitus Womersley, we studied their development, survival and fecundity data under laboratory conditions using Coboldia fuscipes Meigen as a food source and analyzed them with the age-stage, two-sex life table. Macrocheles glaber had a significantly shorter developmental time, oviposition period, longevity and lower fecundity than those of S.
