To investigate the effects of HS on mitochondrial functions under low temperature stress, we analyzed the effects of 0.05 mmol·L NaHS and 15 μmmol·L HT (hypotaurine and HS scavenger) on mitochondria antioxidant enzyme activities and mitochondrial permeability transition pore, mitochondrial membrane fluidity, mitochondrial membrane potential, Cyt c/a ratio and H-ATPase activity in sweet cherry stigma and ovary with sweet cherry variety Zaodaguo under -2 ℃ low temperature stress. The results showed that low temperature stress increased the concentrations of mitochondrial HO and MDA, enhanced the mitochondrial membrane permeability, but decreased the mitochondrial membrane fluidity, membrane potential, Cyt c/a and H-ATPase acti-vity.

According to Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) theories, TCM with different meridian tropism have different therapeutic effects. In view of the meridian tropism of Astragalus membranaceus (Huangqi), astragaloside IV, one of the effective phytochemicals of Huangqi, was appointed and observed its distribution in rat tissues following a single intravenous (i.v.

Traditional ultrafiltration (UF) usually has a large volume ratio of ultrafiltrate to sample solution, and this ratio cannot be well controlled. It can break the balance of protein-binding equilibrium and exert an influence on the analysis of free drug. In the present study, we evaluated the influence of volume ratio of ultrafiltrate to sample solution on the analysis of free drug in human plasma.
