Wadsley-Roth phase niobates demonstrate significant Li-storage advantages. Even though their Nb can fully transform into Nb during lithiation process, however, only partial Nb can further convert to Nb, leading to much lower practical capacities than the theoretical values according to the two-electron transfer per Nb. The specific mechanism to improve their conversion ratio of Nb to Nb during lithiation process has rarely been reported so far.

However, the lack of genomic resources has hindered progress in understanding this pest at the molecular level. Here, we present a high-quality, chromosomal-level genome assembly for B.

Constructing microtexture that provides efficient antithrombotic and rapid reendothelialization performance on complex curved surfaces remains a pressing challenge. In this work, we present a robust and regular micronano binary texture on the titanium surface, characterized by exceptional mechanical strength and precisely controlled wettability to achieve excellent hemocompatibility.

Methods: A multi-stage, cross-sectional study of 41,136 adults from the NHANES 2003-2018 was conducted. Serum uric acid concentrations, platelet, neutrophil, lymphocyte, and monocyte counts were measured.

Objectives: This study aimed to investigate the effects of silencing Ras homolog family member C (RhoC) on the proliferation, apoptosis, invasion, migration, and epithelial-mesenchymal transition (EMT) of salivary adenoid cystic carcinoma (SACC) and its molecular mechanisms.
Methods: A total of 27 SACC lesions and normal salivary gland tissues that were surgically resected at Qingdao Municipal Hospital from January 1, 2019 to March 1, 2024 were selected, and the expression levels of RhoC were detected by Western blot and immunohistochemistry. Three small interfering RNA (siRNAs) were designed to target the RhoC gene sequence, transfected into SACC-LM and SACC-83 cell lines, and evaluated for transfection efficiency.
Early thrombosis following coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG) surgery leads to perioperative myocardial infarction, which causes difficulties for clinicians and patients. Moreover, once perioperative myocardial infarction occurs, the mortality rate is extremely high. In recent years, microneedle (MN) drug delivery systems have become a research hotspot with broad clinical application prospects.

Methods: This nationwide cross-sectional study analyzed the data from the National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (NHANES) 2003-2018.
Background: Effective drugs for preventing or treating skin flap necrosis remain elusive. In this study, we investigated the potential protective effect of exendin-4 against skin flap ischemia-reperfusion injury (IRI) through the inhibition of ferroptosis.
Method: A rat abdomen was constructed with an island skin flap, and the superficial vascular pedicle of the abdominal wall was closed using a vascular clamp, which was removed after 8 h.
Background: Previous studies indicated that exposure to ambient fine particulate matter (PM) could increase the risk of metabolic syndrome (MetS). However, the specific impact of PM chemical components remains uncertain.
Methods: A national cross-sectional study of 12,846 Chinese middle-aged and older adults was conducted.
Background: Inferring the shape and position of coronary artery poses challenges when using fluoroscopic image guidance during percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) procedure. Although angiography enables coronary artery visualization, the use of injected contrast agent raises concerns about radiation exposure and the risk of contrast-induced nephropathy. To address these issues, dynamic coronary roadmapping overlaid on fluoroscopic images can provide coronary visual feedback without contrast injection.

Sadly, CE can lead to a lack of endothelium, which raises the risk of thrombotic events. Even though daily dual antiplatelet therapies (DAPT) have been shown to reduce thrombotic events, the risk of perioperative thrombotic events is high during the high-risk period after CE-CABG, and there is no consistent protocol to bridge DAPT.

Methods: We recruited patients with diffuse lesions of the RCA undergoing coronary artery bypass surgery between January 2015 and December 2018 and matched SCVBG and CE patients on propensity score (PS). We evaluated the degree of single-stenosis in the RCA, incidence of perioperative myocardial infarction (MI) and major adverse cardiovascular and cerebrovascular events (MACCE), influencing factors of perioperative MACCE, long-term survival rate, and long-term MACCE incidence.

Action representation of man-made tools consists of two subtypes: structural action representation concerning how to grasp an object, and functional action representation concerning the skilled use of an object. Compared to structural action representation, functional action representation plays the dominant role in fine-grained (i.e.

Introduction: Although the vast majority of patients with a myocardial bridge (MB) are asymptomatic, the anomaly was found to be associated with stable or unstable angina, vasospastic angina, acute coronary syndrome, and even malignant arrhythmias and sudden cardiac death in some cases.
Methods: By retrieving the relevant literature on MB from 1 January 1980 to 31 July 2022 from the Web of Science Core Collection (WoSCC) database, we used the bibliometric tools, including CiteSpace, VOS viewer, and alluvial generator, to visualize the scientific achievements on MB.

Background: F-sodium fluoride (F-NaF) positron emission tomography (PET)/computed tomography (CT) is a promising new approach for assessing microcalcification in vascular plaque.
Objectives: This prospective study aimed to evaluate the associations between in vivo coronary F-NaF PET/CT activity and ex vivo histological characteristics, to determine whether coronary F-NaF activity is a novel biomarker of plaque pathological vulnerability, and to explore the underlying physiological environment of F-NaF adsorption to vascular microcalcification.
Methods: Patients with coronary artery disease (CAD) underwent coronary computed tomography angiography (CTA) and F-NaF PET/CT.
The large-scale open access whole-exome sequencing (WES) data of the UK Biobank ~200,000 participants is accelerating a new wave of genetic association studies aiming to identify rare and functional loss-of-function (LoF) variants associated with complex traits and diseases. We proposed to merge the WES genotypes and the genome-wide genotyping (GWAS) genotypes of 167,000 UKB homogeneous European participants into a combined reference panel, and then to impute 241,911 UKB homogeneous European participants who had the GWAS genotypes only. We then used the imputed data to replicate association identified in the discovery WES sample.

However, electric field must always be applied to maintain the specific colors, which brings concerns about the power consumption and signal stability and reversibility. Here, we show an electrically responsive photonic crystal with two stable states at 0 V, which are the colored state or the colorless state with ordered or disordered particle arrangement.

PD-1/PD-L1 inhibitor is a promising medication for cancer therapy as its potent functions on adaptive immune response; whether it could be a candidate for HS therapy has aroused our interest. This study aimed to explore the effect and the mechanism of BMS-202, a PD-1/PD-L1 inhibitor, in HS.
