The experience of performing bilateral tonsillectomy under general anesthesia for two patients with a transplanted kidney receiving immunosuppressive therapy is presented. In both patients after surgery, pain and inflammatory changes in the postsurgery wound were minimal. However, in the postsurgery period, infection was observed in patients, this required the prescription of systemic antibacterial drugs.

Purpose: The purpose of the study was to identify the effect of a homeopathic monocomponent herbal product Arnica Montana C9 (BUARON) on the condition of patients undergoing tonsillectomy.
Material And Methods: The article presents a study that was conducted in patients with chronic decompensated tonsillitis who were admitted to the Department of Otorhinolaryngology, Pavlov First Saint Petersburg State Medical University for planned surgery.
