Extensive evidence suggests a correlation between environmental pollutants, specifically perfluoroalkyl and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) and non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD). Neovascular age-related macular degeneration (nvAMD) is the leading cause of severe vision loss in the elderly in the developed world. While the introduction of therapies targeting vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) has provided the first opportunity to significantly improve vision in patients with nvAMD, many patients respond inadequately to current anti-VEGF therapies. ABCG2 is a multidrug transporter that protects tissues from xenobiotics, affects drug pharmacokinetics, and contributes to multidrug resistance of cancer cells. Here, we present tetracyclic fumitremorgin C analog Ko143 derivatives, evaluate their modulation of purified ABCG2, and report four high-resolution cryo-EM structures and computational analyses to elucidate their interactions with ABCG2. Here, we propose a stripping voltammetric method for Ag ion determination in distilled water utilizing screen-printed Au electrodes coated with Nafion (Nafion/Au screen-printed electrodes). The concentration of Ag in pure water was determined by linear sweep voltammetry (LSV) after silver deposition on the Nafion/Au electrode. Background: Chlorsulfuron resistance and genetic dominance was evaluated in Raphanus raphanistrum genotypes homozygous (122-RR, 376-RR), heterozygous (122-RS, 376-RS) and compound heterozygous (122-R/376-R) for the target-site resistance mutations Ala-122-Tyr and Asp-376-Glu in the AHAS (acetohydroxyacid synthase) gene.

Results: At the AHAS level, 122-RR and 122-RS plants exhibited significantly higher I values than 376-RR and 376-RS plants, respectively. However, plants of the compound heterozygous genotype (122-R/376-R), showed no difference in AHAS activity compared to the 122-RS genotype but lower activity than the 122-RR genotype, and showed a nearly 400-fold greater I value than both genotypes (376-RR and 376-RS) carrying the 376-Glu allele.
