Systemic diseases, such as IgG4-related disease, sarcoidosis, and amyloidosis, usually involve multiple systems or organs simultaneously or sequentially. The gastrointestinal tract, hepatobiliary system, and genitourinary tract are commonly involved in many multisystem diseases and can also be the first sites with disease involvement. In this study, a novel synthesis of ultrathin, highly uniform colloidal bismuth sulfohalide (BiSX where X = Cl, Br, I) nanowires (NWs) and NW bundles (NBs) for room-temperature and solution-processed flexible photodetectors are presented. High-aspect-ratio bismuth sulfobromide (BiSBr) NWs are synthesized via a heat-up method using bismuth bromide and elemental S as precursors and 1-dodecanethiol as a solvent. Bundling of the BiSBr NWs occurs upon the addition of 1-octadecene as a co-solvent.

In bone defects, infections lead to excessive inflammation, increased bacterial, and bone lysis, resulting in irregular wounds that hinder new bone regeneration. Injectable bioactive materials with adequate antimicrobial activity and strong osteogenic potential are urgently required to remedy irregular defects, eradicate bacteria, and facilitate the generation of new bone tissue. In this research, injectable dual-network composite hydrogels consisting of sulfated chitosan, oxidized hyaluronic acid, β-sodium glycerophosphate, and CuSr doped mesoporous bioactive glass loaded with bone morphogenetic protein (CuSrMBG) were utilized for the first time to treat infectious bone defects.

First-generation KRAS G12C inhibitors, such as sotorasib and adagrasib, are limited by the depth and duration of clinical responses. One potential explanation for their modest clinical activity is the dynamic "cycling" of KRAS between its guanosine diphosphate (GDP)- and guanosine triphosphate (GTP)-bound states, raising controversy about whether targeting the GDP-bound form can fully block this oncogenic driver. Recently, with the development of non-invasive human health monitoring technology including wearable devices, a flexible sensor that monitors 'human sound and movement signals' such as human voice and muscle movement is attracting attention. In this experiment, electrospun nanofibers were mixed with highly conductive nanoparticles and coated with polyaniline to detect the patient's electrical signals. Due to the high piezoelectric effect, nanofiber-based sensors do not require charging through a separate battery, so they can be used as self-powered devices.
