In recent years, organizations worldwide have widely applied the project approach in business and value delivery. Negotiation is essential to the success of a project; however, it has not been explored systematically in the project context. A gap remains between knowledge and practical behavior during negotiation settlements throughout projects.

Twelve college-level badminton athletes wore a HR transmitter belt and five accelerometers fixed on both hands, legs, and lower back while performing continuous three-minute training of four badminton skills including backhand serve (BS), net shot (NS), footwork training (FT), and jump smash (JS). Results showed PL at the five locations were significantly related to TRIMP ( = 0.

Objective: Both temporomandibular disorders (TMDs) and sleep bruxism (SB) are known to be destructive to the masticatory system. However, the association between the 2 conditions is poorly understood. The aim of our study was to assess the relationship between TMD and SB through the signs and symptoms in 2 patient groups: TMD only and TMD with SB.

Calibrated spherical gellan gum and nanoparticle-containing gellan gum microspheres were prepared via water-in oil emulsification method. Self-assembled nanoparticles composed of short-chain hyaluronic acid and polyethylenimine as the doxorubicin carrier were prepared.

These enzymes are located in the membrane of endoplasmic reticulum and mitochondria to catalyze redox reactions using electrons transported from the membrane. In the mitochondria, steroidogenic enzymes are inserted into the inner membrane with the bulk of the protein facing the matrix.

Introduction: The efficacy of intravenous immunoglobulin (IVIg) for toxic epidermal necrolysis (TEN) remains controversial, particularly for high-dose IVIg. In the present study, we conducted a SCORTEN (SCORe of Toxic Epidermal Necrosis)-based standardized mortality ratio (SMR) meta-analysis, with a focus on the efficacy of high-dose IVIg.
Evidence Acquisition: A systematic review and meta-analysis of the literature published between January 01, 2000 and April 30, 2016 was conducted.
Background: The lack of sufficient numbers of professional nurses in the healthcare system in Taiwan is an issue that affects the sustainability of this system and that relates closely to working conditions.
Purpose: The present study explores the expectations that nurses hold with regard to working conditions and the operation of a flexible system in hospitals.
Methods: A literature review and focus-group interviews were used to develop the questionnaire Working Conditions and Flexible System.
Normal pregnancy is supported by increased levels of progesterone (P4), which is secreted from ovarian luteal cells via enzymatic steps catalyzed by P450scc (CYP11A1) and HSD3B. The development and maintenance of corpora lutea during pregnancy, however, are less well understood. Here we used Cyp11a1 transgenic mice to delineate the steps of luteal cell differentiation during pregnancy.

In this study, a trajectory model was developed to simulate the cell density change and spatial distribution of cells with nonuniform colony sizes. Simulations showed that larger colonies migrate to the near-surface water layer during the night to effectively capture irradiation and become heavy enough to sink during daytime.

Due to its hydrophilic nature, cells require sulfate transporters on their plasma membranes to allow entry of sulfate into cells. In this study, we identified a new mouse Na(+)-sulfate cotransporter (mNaS2), characterized its tissue distribution and determined its cDNA and gene (Slc13a4) structures.

In the present study, we characterized the functional properties of the rat Na+-sulfate cotransporter NaS2 (rNaS2), determined its tissue distribution, and identified its gene (slc13a4) structure. Expression of rNaS2 protein in Xenopus oocytes led to a Na+-dependent transport of sulfate that was inhibited by phosphate, thiosulfate, tungstate, selenate, oxalate, and molybdate, but not by citrate, succinate, or DIDS.

Six identical subunits of both ClpY and ClpQ self-assemble into an oligomeric ring, and two rings of each subunit, two ClpQ rings surrounded by single ClpY rings, form a dumbbell shape complex. The ClpYQ protease degrades the cell division inhibitor, SulA, and a positive regulator of capsule transcription, RcsA, as well as RpoH, a heat shock sigma transcription factor.

Therefore, the clinical efficacy of Tc-99m HMPAO labeled leukocyte (TC-WBC) scan for the diagnosis of acute appendicitis in patients presenting with atypical clinical findings is assessed.
Patients And Methods: Eighty patients presenting with acute abdominal pain and possible acute appendicitis but atypical findings were included in this study.
