Background: Long-term outcomes of patients with bifurcated lesions and the restenotic response of the side branches after sirolimus-eluting stent (SES) implantation, comparing 1-stent with 2-stent treatment, are still under discussion.

Methods And Results: Japan Post-Marketing Surveillance Registry (J-PMS) is a prospective registry designed to evaluate the safety and efficacy of the SES in routine clinical practice. Angiograms of 1,063 patients with 1,250 lesions were analyzed at the independent core lab.
