Purpose: To present a case of bilateral, asymmetric keratoconus presenting unilaterally after partial thyroidectomy with delayed presentation in the second eye after thyrotoxicosis, with disease stabilization following corneal cross-linking (CXL).
Methods: Case report and literature review.
Results: A 17-year-old girl with a history of Graves' disease underwent partial thyroidectomy without thyroid hormone replacement therapy with normal baseline ophthalmic examination of corrected distance visual acuity (CDVA) of 20/20 and no manifest astigmatism in either eye.
