Hardware system customized toward the demands of graph neural network learning would promote efficiency and strong temporal processing for graph-structured data. However, most amorphous/polycrystalline oxides-based memristors commonly have unstable conductance regulation due to random growth of conductive filaments. And graph neural networks based on robust and epitaxial film memristors can especially improve energy efficiency due to their high endurance and ultra-low power consumption.

Most cases of delayed wound healing are associated with bacterial biofilm infections due to high antibiotic resistance. To improve patient compliance and recovery rates, it is critical to develop minimally invasive and efficient methods to eliminate bacterial biofilms as an alternative to clinical debridement techniques. Herein, we develop a dissolving microneedle system containing Ag nanoparticles (AgNPs)-decorated silk fibroin microspheres (SFM-AgNPs) and antibiotics for synergistic treatment of bacterial biofilm infection.

We sequenced the whole genomes of three -positive multidrug-resistant strains, which were previously isolated from the environment of egret habitat (polluted river) and egret feces. The results exhibit high correlation between antibiotic-resistant phenotype and genotype among the three strains. Most of the mobilized antibiotic resistance genes (ARGs) are distributed on plasmids in the forms of transposons or integrons.

A simple device, which is equipped with a non-woven fabric filter medium immobilized with ion-recognizable smart hollow microgels, is developed for facile detection of trace lead(II) ions (Pb ). The ion-recognizable smart microgels are made of poly(N-isopropylacrylamide-co-benzo-18-crown-6-acrylamide) (PNB), in which the 18-crown-6 groups act as the sensors of Pb and the N-isopropylacrylamide groups act as the actuators. The PNB hollow microgels can isothermally change from a shrunk state to a swollen state in response to recognizing Pb in the aqueous environment due to the electrostatic repulsion among the charged 18-crown-6/Pb complex groups and the enhancement of hydrophilicity of the microgels.
