The development of low-temperature solid oxide fuel cells (LT-SOFCs) is of significant importance for realizing the widespread application of SOFCs. This has stimulated a substantial materials research effort in developing high oxide-ion conductivity in the electrolyte layer of SOFCs. In this context, for the first time, a dielectric material, CaCuTiO (CCTO) is designed for LT-SOFCs electrolyte application in this study.

Methods: A sample of 258 adult patients admitted in the selected wards and planned for peripheral intravenous catheter insertion were recruited through consecutive sampling during March to May 2019. Daily follow-ups were performed to observe signs of phlebitis using a validated tool.
Desalination processes frequently require a lot of energy to generate freshwater and energy, which depletes resources. Their reliance on each other creates tension between these two vital resources. Herein, hierarchical MXene nanosheets and bismuth vanadate (TiC/BiVO)-derived microcapsules were synthesized for a photothermal-induced photoredox reaction for twofold applications, namely, solar-driven water evaporation and hydrogen (H) production.

Here an A-site deficient semiconductor electrolyte Sr Co FeO is proposed for low-temperature solid oxide fuel cells (LT-SOFCs). A fuel cell with a structure of Ni/NCAL-SrCoFeO -NCAL/Ni reached a promising performance of 771 mW cm at 550 °C.

BaCoFeZrYO with a perovskite-phase cathode has demonstrated efficient triple-charge conduction (H/O/e) in a high-performance low-temperature solid oxide fuel cell (LT-SOFC). Here, we designed another type of triple-charge conducting perovskite oxide based on BaSrCoFeZrYO (BSCFZY), which formed a heterostructure with ionic conductor CaCeSmO (SCDC), showing both a high ionic conductivity of 0.

Methods: A parallel arm randomized controlled trial among patients with type 2 diabetes aged 30-60 years, with HbA1c > 7%, diagnosed for at least 5 yrs., was conducted at the national institute of diabetes and endocrinology in Karachi, Pakistan.
Background: Appropriate and timely feedback is essential in improving communication skills and is endorsed as a core competency of emergency medicine residency (EMR) education by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education.
Aim: The study aimed to improve the telephone referral skills through a structured feedback session using ISBAR and to gauge residents' opinions about this approach.
Methods: This was a pilot, educational project that included emergency medicine residents in current training program from October 2018 to March 2019.
Background: Novel interactive and pictorial health education tool named Diabetes Conversation Map (DCM) might be effective for the improvement of diabetes management self-efficacy (DMSE) and diabetes distress (DD) among diabetic patients in lower middle-income setting. This study protocol will assess the effectiveness of DCM as compared to routine care (RC) to improve DMSE, decrease DD and glycated hemoglobin (HbA1c) among patients with type 2 diabetes (T2DM).
Methods: This will be two arms randomized controlled trial, conducted at national institute of diabetes and endocrinology (NIDE) in Karachi, Pakistan.
Background: Premature ejaculation is one of the most common sexual disorders. A large number of treatment options have been used so far for the treatment of this dysfunction and still a large number of experts are doing research in this field. Here we have tried to research on the beneficial effects of levosulpiride in the treatment of PE.

Both were revised using a two stage, one component revision technique, replacing the loose component only. In the first case the acetabular component was revised leaving the original femoral stem in situ.

Background: Vesico-vaginal Fistula (VVF) is an abnormal communication between bladder and vagina that causes continuous discharge of urine in to vaginal vault. The objective of this study is to describe current trends of aetiology and repair of Vesico-vaginal Fistulae. This is a Descriptive Study, conducted at Armed Forces Institute of Urology, Rawalpindi and Combined Military Hospital, Kharian between May 2001 and May 2007.

First, to determine whether rSK3 could co-assemble with rSK2 we created rSK3VK (an SK3 mutant insensitive to block by UCL 1848). When rSK3VK was co-expressed with rSK2 the resulting currents had an intermediate sensitivity to UCL 1848 (IC50 of approximately 5 nM compared with 120 pM for rSK2 and >300 nM for rSK3VK), suggesting that rSK3 and rSK2 can form functional heteromeric channels.
