Background/objectives: Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) plays a vital role in brain tumor diagnosis by providing clear visualization of soft tissues without the use of ionizing radiation. Given the increasing incidence of brain tumors, there is an urgent need for reliable diagnostic tools, as misdiagnoses can lead to harmful treatment decisions and poor outcomes. While machine learning has significantly advanced medical diagnostics, achieving both high accuracy and computational efficiency remains a critical challenge.

A particular type of physiological condensate called stress granules (SGs) has gained increasing interest due to its role in the cellular stress response and various diseases. SGs, composed of several hundred RNA-binding proteins, form transiently in response to stress to protect mRNAs from translation and disassemble when the stress subsides.

Background: Right atrial (RA) dysfunction and atrial arrhythmias are relatively common in adults with repaired tetralogy of Fallot. The purpose of this study was to determine whether RA function improved after surgical pulmonary valve replacement (PVR), and the association between postoperative RA reverse remodeling and late postoperative atrial arrhythmias.
Method: RA reverse remodeling (ΔRA reservoir strain based speckle tracking echocardiography) was calculated as: ([postoperative RA reservoir strain - preoperative RA reservoir strain]/preoperative RA reservoir strain)x100.
Background and objective Peripheral arterial disease (PAD) is a common disorder that is usually associated with leg symptoms such as intermittent claudication (IC), which could be masked by peripheral neuropathy in diabetic patients. In this study, we aimed to assess the prevalence and associated risk factors of asymptomatic PAD among Jordanian patients with diabetic foot ulcers. Methods A cross-sectional study involving diabetic foot patients attending the diabetic foot clinic at the Medical City in Royal Medical Services in Amman, Jordan, was conducted from January 2023 to March 2024.

Methods: MEDLINE and Google Scholar databases were utilized to search articles published during the years 2015-2024. The review was limited to randomized controlled studies that measured specific outcomes for safety and efficacy aspects, including adverse events (AEs) or treatment-emergent adverse events (TEAEs) to evaluate safety and Investigator's static global assessment (ISGA) or improvement of at least 75% of Eczema Area and Severity Index (EASI-75) to evaluate efficacy.
Haematometra, a rare and delayed complication, can emerge following medical termination of pregnancy, also known as 'postabortal post-caesarean syndrome' or 'redo syndrome'. Treatment requires the immediate evacuation of both liquid and clotted blood for quick resolution, followed by administration of an oxytocic agent to ensure complete recovery. This current report describes a female patient in her mid-30s who presented with colicky lower abdominal pain following a medically-induced abortion at 10 weeks.

These records were obtained from the SOBA-D161094 meteorological mast station, located within the premises of the National Energy Research Center of Sudan. Using the two-parameter Weibull distribution, the scale and shape parameters estimated by the method of moments for this dataset were 4.

Purpose: To evaluate the clinical and functional outcomes of closed reduction and arthroscopic McLaughlin procedure with posterior labral repair in patients with neglected locked posterior shoulder dislocation for less than 12 weeks.
Methods: A prospective study was conducted at university hospitals, managing 15 patients with neglected locked posterior shoulder dislocation for less than 12 weeks and concomitant engaging reverse Hill-Sachs lesions of less than 40% of the humeral articular surface.
Background: Catheter ablation is an effective therapy in the management of atrial fibrillation (AF). Left atrial appendage closure (LAAC) is an alternative to anticoagulation for stroke prevention in patients with bleeding risks.
Objectives: The purpose of this study was to assess the safety and efficacy of combining AF ablation and LAAC in a single procedure.
Background: There are limited data on clinical and arrhythmic outcomes after a first ventricular tachyarrhythmia (VTA) in heart failure (HF) patients who receive a primary prevention implantable cardioverter-defibrillator (ICD).
Objective: This study was designed to quantify the burden of and to identify risk factors for recurrent VTA in this population and to evaluate the risk of all-cause mortality associated with recurrent VTA.
Methods: The study comprised 789 patients who experienced VTA following primary prevention ICD implantation in 5 ICD trials (MADIT-II, MADIT-RISK, MADIT-CRT, MADIT-RIT, RAID).

Introduction: The implantable cardioverter defibrillator reduces mortality among patients with heart failure (HF) due to ischemic heart disease. Clinical trial data have called into question the benefit of an ICD in patients with HF due to nonischemic cardiomyopathy (NICM). We developed a risk stratification score for ventricular tachyarrhythmia (VTA) among patients with NICM receiving a primary prevention ICD.

The injury was managed initially with manipulation under anesthesia, the insertion of the Titanium Elastic Nailing System (TENS), and the application of an above-elbow cast. Clinical and radiographic reviews confirmed fracture healing after seven weeks, allowing for cast removal and advising the patient to avoid contact sports.

Native top-down mass spectrometry is a powerful approach for characterizing proteoforms and has recently been applied to provide similarly powerful insights into protein conformation. Current approaches, however, are limited such that structural insights can only be obtained for the entire conformational landscape in bulk or without any direct conformational measurement. We report a new ion-mobility-enabled method for performing native top-down MS in a conformation-specific manner.

To do this, we use the simple model of Stokes equations for drift velocities in active and passive layers, known as Pogrebinskii's approach. The solution to these equations allows us to find the potential distribution, and thus the non-local drag resistance of passive layer.

Psoriasis is a chronic inflammatory disease that is debilitating, particularly in its more severe forms. Multiple systemic therapies are used in moderate-to-severe psoriasis, but the development of biological interventions has revolutionized its management and improved its outcomes. To compare the effectiveness and safety of the different biological interventions approved for use in moderate-to-severe plaque psoriasis.

Methods: Imaging was performed in 20 healthy volunteers, two patients, and one swine post-myocardial infarction. The impact of maximum gradient strength was assessed with spin echo cardiac DTI featuring second-order motion compensation and varying maximum system gradient strengths (40, 80, 200 mT/m).
Osteosarcoma (OS) mortality stems from lung metastases. Matrix metalloproteinases (MMPs) facilitate metastatic dissemination by degrading extracellular matrix components. Herein we studied the impact of targeted MMP downregulation on OS metastasis.
