The purpose of this study is to determine the frequency of responses to selected fragrances in patients with suspected fragrance allergy and to evaluate the risk factors. 9 dermatology departments of university hospitals have participated in this study for the past 1 year. To determine allergic response to fragrances, 18 additional fragrances in addition to the Korean standard and a commercial fragrance series were patch-tested in patients with suspecting cosmetic contact dermatitis.

Becker nevus is an acquired disorder that usually manifests in late childhood or adolescence as a hyperpigmented hypertrichotic patch usually located on the upper trunk or proximal upper extremities. Only a few cases of congenital and familial Becker nevus have been described. Although the lesions may have various shapes, they consistently have a geographic or blocklike configuration in an irregular fashion; a linear pattern has rarely been reported.

Many preliminary data suggest that the 308-nm excimer laser can be a highly effective therapeutic alternative for treating vitiligo, inducing rapid repigmentation with minimal ultraviolet irradiation. We evaluated the clinical efficacy of the 308-nm excimer laser treatment for various body areas, using different initial UV doses. One hundred forty vitiligo patches from 69 patients were assigned to 4 groups; face and neck, trunk, extremities, and acral and joint areas.

Basaloid carcinoma of the lung is a rarely occurring form of lung cancer morphologically resembling the basal cell carcinoma of the skin. Although various histologic types of lung cancers have metastasized to the skin, basaloid carcinoma of the lung that shows cutaneous metastasis has yet to be reported. A 48-year-old man was admitted to our pulmonology department with mild dyspnea and a solitary cutaneous mass on the left portion of his chin.
