Their indications are clearly defined by learned societies but the challenge is to determine the optimal number of TACE sessions that will benefit patients before switching to other therapies. In this case series, we describe the cases of three patients, all presenting with sudden epigastric pain, diagnosed as spontaneous haematoma, complicating a median arcuate ligament syndrome.
