Nucleus pulposus (NP) cell pyroptosis plays a critical role in the pathogenesis of intervertebral disk degeneration (IDD). MIR155 host gene (MIR155HG) is a long non-coding RNA with pro-inflammatory activity. However, very little is known about its role in NP cell pyroptosis.
