Background: To investigate prenatal ultrasound findings and the chromosomal outcomes of mosaic embryo transfer.
Methods: This retrospective study was conducted on pregnant women who underwent mosaic embryo transfer following blastocyst-stage preimplantation genetic testing for aneuploidy (PGT-A) at CHA Gangnam Medical Center from January 2021 to July 2024. Trophectoderm biopsy specimens were collected using standard protocols, and next-generation sequencing profiles were defined as mosaics when displaying copy number counts in the 20-80% range.

The lithium lanthanum titanium oxide (LLTO) perovskite is one type of superior lithium (Li)-ion conductor that is of great interest as a solid-state electrolyte for all-solid-state lithium batteries. Objectives: To determine the effects of cerclage on twin pregnancies.
Methods: A multicenter, retrospective, cohort study was conducted at 10 tertiary centers using a web-based data collection platform. The study population included twin pregnancies delivered after 20 weeks of gestation.
Importance: Multiple pregnancy is relatively common in many countries and is associated with various pregnancy complications, including preterm birth, low birth weight, and congenital anomalies. In particular, a poorer prognosis has been reported when congenital anomalies overlap with other pregnancy complications in multiple pregnancy compared with singleton pregnancy.
Objective: This study reviews the characteristics of congenital anomalies that occur in multiple gestations as compared with singleton pregnancies.
Cell-free DNA (cfDNA) screening for fetal aneuploidies is clinically available and exhibits better performance than conventional serum screening tests. However, data on the clinical performance of cfDNA screening in twin pregnancies are limited. In this review, we summarized the clinical performance and evaluated the feasibility of cfDNA screening in twin pregnancies based on recent studies and recommendations.

In this work, analyses focus on understanding the effects of the scanning pattern and speed on the thermal profile, phase transformation, and residual stress generation in the WAAM deposition. An FE numerical model is constructed that takes into account the phase evolution and transformation plasticity using the ABAQUS user subroutine, UMAT. The results show that the scanning pattern significantly affects the heat accumulation and the cooling rate during the AM deposition, and, eventually, the generation of residual stresses.
