Background: Time-lapse technology (TLT) has emerged as a significant advancement in the field of assisted reproductive technology (ART), providing continuous observation of embryos. However, limited information exists on the adoption of TLT across ART facilities and the clinical implications of its application in embryo evaluation and fertilization verification. The existing literature has not yet comprehensively examined how TLT data are utilized to optimize ART outcomes, particularly in Japan, where ART practices are highly prevalent.

The objective of the present study was to investigate whether minor congenital uterine anomalies such as an arcuate uterus contribute to perinatal complications. This was a retrospective cohort study at a single institution.

These tumors have traditionally been viewed as one of the more aggressive forms of appendiceal cancer, frequently being diagnosed at a metastatic stage. For patients with stage III-IV disease, the 5-year overall survival rate ranges from 14% to 22%.

However, there is limited data on which NMP perfusate biomarkers might be associated with such EAD and the role of perfusate hemoglobin has not been assessed.
Methods: We performed a pilot retrospective analysis of adult donor livers undergoing NMP between 2020 and 2022 at our center.
Purpose: This study aimed to establish criteria for defining "large" subchorionic hematoma (SCH) and assess its association with pregnancy complications.
Method: This was a retrospective cohort study conducted at our institution between 2019 and 2020. We compared the size of SCH between the pregnancy-related complication and non-complication groups, using two measurement methods.
Aim: In frozen-thawed embryo transfer (FET), differences in endometrial preparation methods affect the incidence of perinatal complications. However, the underlying causes are unclear. We aimed to investigate whether serum E2, P4 levels are associated with perinatal complications.

However, few studies have examined uterine anomalies in relation to perinatal complications other than those mentioned above. We investigated the association between pregnancies complicated by congenital uterine anomalies and various perinatal outcomes at our institution.

It has recently attracted strong interest because of its diverse functions, including anti-inflammatory, anti-fibrotic, and vasodilatory, and has been suggested as a potential peptide-based drug candidate for a variety of diseases. Mature H2 relaxin is constituted by the A- and B-chains stabilized by two interchain disulfide (SS) bridges and one intrachain SS linkage.

Aim: To clarify the diagnostic process of the causative disease of abnormal uterine bleeding (AUB) in Japan according to the International Federation of Gynecology and Obstetrics AUB diagnostic system.
Methods: Patients diagnosed with AUB were included in a nationwide survey of AUB conducted during any 2-week period between December 2019 and January 2020. The second survey included information on patient background, AUB symptoms, examinations for diagnosing AUB, the order in which they were performed, and the causative diseases of AUB.
A man in his 60s with a virgin abdomen presented with sudden-onset generalised abdominal pain and fevers. The night prior, he snacked on supermarket purchased dehydrated apples. CT abdomen and pelvis revealed small bowel obstruction (SBO) to the mid ileum and small amount of free fluid within the pelvis.

Although treatment options for endometriosis alleviate this pain, approximately one-third of women still experience pain even after receiving treatment, indicating the need for novel approaches to pain relief in those women. The Angel Touch device (AT-04) is a portable magnetic fields irradiation device that incorporates a combination of mixed alternative magnetic fields at 2 kHz and 83.

Objectives: The objective of this study was to observe the influence of laparoscopic adenomyomectomy on perinatal outcomes.
Materials And Methods: The retrospective cohort study included 43 pregnant cases with adenomyosis who did not undergo laparoscopic surgery before pregnancy (nonsurgery group; 26 cases) and did (surgery group; 17 cases). To evaluate the impact of surgery on perinatal outcomes, nine obstetric complications including preterm delivery, hypertensive disorder of pregnancy, placental malposition, oligohydramnios, gestational diabetes mellitus, uterine rupture, abruptio placentae, and postpartum hemorrhage were selected.
Background: Robotic pancreaticoduodenectomy (RPD) is an emerging alternative to open pancreaticoduodenectomy (OPD). Although RPD offers various theoretical advantages, it is used in less than 10% of all pancreaticoduodenectomies. The aim of this study was to report our 10-year experience and compare RPD outcomes with international benchmarks for OPD.

The analgesic effects of a multimodal intrathecal analgesia (MITA) technique of intrathecal morphine (ITM) in combination with clonidine and bupivacaine compared to ITM alone have not been investigated in these patients.
Methods: We performed a multicenter retrospective study of patients undergoing complex HPB surgery who received ITM, bupivacaine, and clonidine (MITA group) or ITM-only (ITM group) as part of their perioperative analgesia strategy.
Introduction: Infertility is estimated to affect 8% to 12% of reproductive-aged couples worldwide. While approximately 85% of infertile couples have an identified cause, the remaining 15% suffer physically and emotionally from unexplained intractable infertility. In recent years, maternal-to-fetal immunological abnormalities have attracted attention as mechanisms that differ from the conventional factors contributing to infertility and pregnancy loss.

The serum levels of anti-β2GPI/HLA-DR antibody (normal < 73.3 U) were determined in 224 women with infertility.

We hypothesized that the robotic approach would be associated with improved clinical outcomes following major hepatectomy compared with the laparoscopic approach among elderly patients who would benefit from the advantages of minimally invasive surgery.
Methods: A retrospective review of consecutive patients who underwent major hepatectomy between January 2010 and December 2021 at Carolinas Medical Center was performed.
Background And Aim: The C-reactive protein to albumin ratio, albumin-bilirubin index and platelet-albumin-bilirubin index have emerged as prognostic scores in hepatocellular carcinoma, although their clinical utility remains unclear, with ongoing investigation in multiple patient populations. This study aims to report survival outcomes and evaluate these indices in a cohort of patients undergoing liver resection for hepatocellular carcinoma in a tertiary Australian centre.
Methods: This retrospective study reviewed data from the Department of Surgery at Austin Health and electronic health records (Cerner corporation).
Background: Pancreatic necrosectomy with concomitant internal drainage is a single-stage treatment option for walled-off pancreatic necrosis (WOPN). However, an optimal minimally invasive technique has not been established. We evaluated the safety and single-intervention success rate of robotic pancreatic necrosectomy and internal drainage.
