We measured missing mass spectrum of the ^{12}C(γ,p) reaction for the first time in coincidence with potential decay products from η^{'} bound nuclei. We tagged an (η+p) pair associated with the η^{'}N→ηN process in a nucleus. After applying kinematical selections to reduce backgrounds, no signal events were observed in the bound-state region.

In order to evaluate the quality of the beams extracted from ion sources quickly, we developed the Pepper-Pot type Emittance Monitor at the RCNP. After improving an analysis method for emittance estimation using LabVIEW, we achieved a measurement frequency of 4 Hz.

An initial energy distribution and the efficiency of a test moderator assembly (TMA) for fast neutrons from a tungsten (W) target bombarded with a 53 MeV proton beam were measured using organic scintillators. Serum antibodies to P2 protein, myelin basic protein (MBP) and galactocerebroside (GC) were examined to study the role of humoral factors in experimental allergic neuritis (EAN). Out of 19 outbred rabbits sensitized with peripheral nerve homogenate, 14 developed EAN and the remaining 5 rabbits did not develop the disease. Anti-P2 protein and anti-MBP antibodies were detected not only in the EAN rabbits but also in the nonresponders.
